Wonderful experience. The food was superb and the same can be said for their service.

We went here as a surprise for my partners birthday and they facilitated so many things in order to make it extra special.

There was a vegetarian menu available which was very pleasant for my partner.

The only side note I can give is that they served me three vegetarian dishes as well, even though I saw the 'winter' menu for fish & meat was different. I asked them during dinner and the staff insisted that I will get meat and fish later, but to my surprise the table next to me had the same dishes, with meat. I will not subtract a star since everything else was so well composed, especially the quality of the dishes and wines that were paired with them.

This place is nicely located near the central station and has a private parking. The dishes have a creative pallette of flavours and textures. The meat was tender and fish was soft. Also plenty of vegetarian dishes available that were also amazing.
We had 4 course menu, which ended up being a 5 course with the double dessert. All dishes were simply superb!
It's a must try!

Great place. It’s a bit pricy (>€39) if you want to go for the full experience of the surprise menus. But it’s totally worth it. We tried the “taste menu” where you get 5 dishes with different taste profiles and combined it with the relevant wines. The experience and explanation was great, the even take into account allergies/preferences, which is nice, but had the downside that the rest of the people at the table might not get something they might’ve liked as well

Amazing dinner with amazing food. Very interesting vegan dishes, surprinsing and delicious. We had the menu for the vegan Sunday and it was really good. Also the chef explained every dish to us in english separately which was a really good touch.

Seriously.... anyone who knows good good food should start here. We had the surprise menu with wine pairing. Intricately put together with the wine tasting option, amazing flavours, colours and presentation.

By far my favorite spot in the city. Attentive staff, great food, relaxed atmosphere. I think no other restaurant in Tilburg can compete. Only wish for improvement: larger selection of rare craft beers (but I understand that's not what the typical customer wants). Otherwise the place to go!

De Houtloods is an excellent restaurant! We had the chef menu (six courses), and every dish was absolutely delicious and well-presented. The staff were extremely friendly. The location is very convenient, not far from the city centre. I would highly recommend this place!

Wij hadden gekozen voor het chef’s lunch menu. Dit stelde zeker niet teleur. Wat een verfijnde, heerlijke gerechten! Bijzondere plek ook in een oude loods van de NS. Ik kan dit restaurant aan iedereen die van culinair houdt aanraden.
