Musicedam

A group of us stopped in to browse and the owners were incredibly friendly and warm. They even played a few songs for us on accordion and strings. Was one of the best experiences of our trip. I was tempted to buy an accordion even though I have never played one and would have had to squeeze it onto the plane somehow.

I bought a travel guitar here recently. They sell a wide variety of great instruments. Every true musician will love the atmosphere in this shop. The owners are among the kindest people I have met.

The best instrument shop I've ever been. I've visited every guitar shop in Amsterdam and they were all very limited, not knowledgeable, not helpful and unfriendly, then I visited John and Jaye and it's like heaven compared to the hell that are those shops in Amsterdam. Even if those shops did have more stuff, I'd always rather go to MusicEdam so John can tell me about more things he's been up to, his new gear and just to support them both, because they are great people. John is also often willing to play for me, always ask politely though. They act like real people with thoughts, feelings and skill!

Nice music store in the old town center of Edam. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend this store for buying new gear or repair of your instrument.

Great music shop! The owners are 2 fantastic and sweet people! They're willing to help and show all kinds of diffrent musical instruments and they play them very well. You can clearly see (and hear) they understand their business :)

This shop is packed full of beautiful instruments, from ukeleles and guitars to stunning accordions. The owners John and Jaye also offer a repair service as well as lessons. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for quality instruments and great service.

Best place to Buy guitar parts. Bought Boston machine head for classic guiter. The owner played guitar for my granddaughter. Very nice.

Well It must be a good place, I'm still buying my Banjo, Flamenco and Gypsy- Jazz strings from John even though I'm in England, which means it Must be a good place. Either that, or I'm a complete pillock, I choose the former.

We stayed here in the attic room great hosts and fab wee room.

John & Jaye wat zijn wij fijn en met geduld geholpen met de aankoop van een gitaar en ukelele (voor de kleinzoon ook aanwezig), waar zij nog voor hebben opgetreden, s,avonds naar bedje toe met de ukelele naast hem, een dag om nooit te vergeten.

老板很友善，很有耐心给我讲解小提琴。最后我买了一个小提琴。老板对弦乐生产技术特别了解。很难得的很好的小店！☺

Zeer goede (en snelle) service en de eigenaar heeft heel veel verstand van snaarinstrumenten. Ik heb mijn Ibanez elektrische gitaar (Rg serie) hier laten afstellen (hals, frets glad laten maken etc) en mijn actieve elementen laten maken. Ik heb een andere gitaar teruggekregen. Speelt 10x fijner en het geluid is weer helemaal top
Update: Inmiddels heel wat meer gitaren gebracht en John is een professional die alle problemen oplost.
