A friendly and welcoming riverside touring caravan / camping site, with lodges (not a hotel as such). Peaceful and well-connected to nearby towns (such as Ommen) by cycle routes and footpaths.

Excellent well-maintained facilities, including a shop, bakery, and bar/takeaway. Good sized, level pitches with EHU, water, and drainage to most.

Stayed here for 10 nights in July and are so glad that we found this gem of a site!
Facilities are clean and extremely well maintained.
Location is wonderful for exploring and cycling with the nearest town, Ommen, only a a short bike ride away.
Explore the paths as you’ll find a solar powered boat to take you across the vecht. There’s also a gem of a children’s play area around 2 mile cycle away.
The hosts are just perfect.
Bar/restaurant onsite with a takeaway option.
Pitches are spacious and well maintained.

We had a great time here. We pitched a tent and didn't use any electricity or water on our pitch, so you might think it's expensive for that. But, the site is really nice and the people are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It's a great location for both Ommen, Zwolle and the beautiful Vecht area.

Third holiday at Arendshorst. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. The accommodation on the river is well appointed and clean. Vast network of safe cycling paths accessible from the site to local sites. Excellent local restaurants at Ommen, Dalfsen and Varsen all with English speaking staff, and don’t miss the coffee and apple cake at the campsite bar.unfortunately the Fishing this year was disappointing due to a low, slow river, but we’ll be back next year .

Fantastic location for anglers accommodation is excellent. After many years at the same location we felt neglected. I appreciate the van should've been removed overnight but without warning the gate was locked for our return(other vans were on site overnight (after knee replacement there was no compassion (on my return I am back under the surgeon for possible knee failure )we still hope to return in 2024

This is a beautiful site set at the side of a river, perfect for fishermen, canoeists, etc. The site is really well kept with spacious pitches and plenty of open space. The facilities are clean and modern. The site owners are very helpful and friendly and speak English. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant and it is an excellent area for cyclists with cycle paths leading to the nearest villages and beyond. We would highly recommend this site.

Fishing holiday, meets all our requirements. Restaurant/bar . Nice food reasonable prices. Friendly helpful staff. Pretty wheelchair friendly. Would definitely recommend and will come back.

Stayed here in bungavans several times now over the years. Really great piecefull place always clean and tidy great staff.

Myself and my wife has been here three times before in our motorhome we are returning this week with my son on our m/cycles brilliant service .well recommended

Geweldige week gehad in de bungavan aan de Vecht. De defecte douchestang was snel en vakkundig gerepareerd. Fijne ontvangst bij de receptie. Alles aanwezig wat een mens maar nodig heeft. Komen graag terug.
