Went here with my foreign girlfriend to have her try true Blokzijler Brok. Yes, it's in other shops too, but Blokzijl is a lovely town to visit on a sunny day.

They have an own special speculaas-like sweet called Blokzijler Brok. It's a more full and moist type of speculaas. If you like speculaas (or even not) - you will like Brok. Brok is also served at many cafes around Blokzijler.

De Blokzijler Brok is een nostalgisch kleine winkel van een oude bakkerij. In de bakkerij worden alleen nog de Blokzijler Brok gebakken. De kleine winkel heeft een assortiment van dagelijkse, vroegere en toeristische producten. Een aanrader om de winkel te bezoeken!

Stom verbaasd dat hier gewoon 100% vertrouwen in de mensen is. Even rondkijken, pakken wat je wil meenemen, zelf optellen en afrekenen. Super!
Nu hopen dat de Blokzijler brok net zo heerlijk is dan er wordt gezegd. Maar daar vertrouw ik op.
