NYSC Orientation Camp

I went for my NYSC orientation here in this camp. It was a beautiful experience. I had the opportunity to meet with so many wonderful people and the NYSC officials here are kind, including the collaborative officers like soldiers, policemen, man O' war, fire service, civil defense, and others.
It was a great place to camp. I encourage you to also have your NYSC orientation in this camp.

It's was really stressful, but I must say it's an interesting experience. I would love to visit there again some other day... I love my stay at ekiti camp

NYSC orientation camp Ise Orun Emure is so calm cool and awesome. The memories I had there is something I can't forget. The friends, the weather my God is so awesome for it was cold season. How can I forget the fruits wow!!!. My 3 weeks stay in the camp was memorable. It was a wonderful experience

It was fun with our camp commander, the soldiers, platoon members and all the staffs. Beagles are annoying except *hungry man go chop* but believe me, you'll miss it once 21 days are over. Hope you have fun there too. From 2019 Batch B stream 1

My stay here has been stressful; this has nothing to do with the atmosphere. It is more related to my purpose of being here; the regimented life is not for me. Thankfully, it's just for 21 days.

NYSC orientation camp is a lovely place but still needs some structural development

NYSC permanent orientation camp Use/Oru Emure, Ekiti State. Nice camping experience.

A regimented life; but it has to be adapted to. Loving it anyways. Orientation lecture

To get to the camp, you will take a cab from ado Ekiti going to NYSC orientation camp Ise/Orun Emure. They will drop you at the front of the camp. It is about 2hrs from ado Ekiti depending on how fast your cab is.

The officials here are very friendly. All you have to do is to comply with all the rules on camp. Always put on your nose mask. You should always be on your white on white anywhere or anytime you are on camp.

You don't need to bring sweater or cardigan. That's a waste of space because you won't be allowed to wear it. If you are cold, wear your khaki.

The white shorts must not have pockets if you are to get yours.

They have a charging booth for all platoons. #100 for phones, #150 for power banks. It is safe. I will advise you take your phone there in the afternoon and collect it in the evening so you be able to press it at night. Light out is by 11pm. There are no sockets in the rooms. You wake up by 5am to get prepared for daily drills

The soldiers and platoon coordinators are calm, cool headed and easy to relate with. If you have any issues, you can always communicate it to them. Though, the platoon officers can be a bit harsh when they are sharing kits.

Bring all necessary documents when coming to camp. If you forget any, you can always print it out at the registration center. Besides, there is monopoly of market. There is no printer or photocopy in mammy market. You can only get in the registration center. Three photocopies is okay.

The environment is peaceful. There are no mosquitoes so to say. You can just take only mosquito cream. It is always hot at night and very cold in the middle of the night.

Bring your food flask when coming because no plate will be given to you. Bring your detergent also that you can use to wash your plate. Don't worry, there is abundant of water. The kitchen attendants will answer you well. No queueing or pushing. Everybody is well attended to.

The camp is sweet. Try as much as possible to enjoy yourself while you can.

The weather condition in this location is very friendly. The facilities are good. The location have clean water, electricity and is secured by the Nigeria Army, Civil Defence, Man 'o' war and other para-military. Restaurants with good foods are available. Clean toilets are also available. There is also a Masjid for praying.

It was a fun place to be. Meeting new people and actually following rules and regulations, being in the camp made me understand alot about our country Nigeria...I am greatful to be among the set of people who were preveledged to be in the nysc orientation camp.
