NYSC Orientation Camp, Obubra

Unity the say can be felt not just articulated, obubra camp exposed me to diversity and culture. I felt the Nigerian spirit in propelling togetherness among youths and the country at large. Though it was a regimented camp, the impact was massive.

Awesome regimented experience with the intent to make you a strong, and patriotic citizen of Nigeria that can serve your fatherland.

National Youth Service Orientation Obubura is a place for good experience as designed by the Federal government of Nigeria.
This year had in the camp 2,100 youth Corp members to be discharged in the next two weeks of this review. Pls do like comments you find useful here.

Really had a great time in the three weeks orientation camp. Arrived at the camp on the 28th of August. The environment is very nice, the workers are cool, the soldiers are really funny and very friendly, the facilities are standard and kept well.

The prices of things are a little on the high side, although they stabilize later on. There may not be much need to purchase food items because the feeding system there is very effective and the food itself is great. You just have to get your flask (the type with a little plate in it). Also, you have to purchase your drinking water yourself.

Water for laundry and bathing are available. You just have to be a bit early due to the crowd. There are two bore-holes (man power pumping style) and two other taps (one of them has four (4) outlets).

The sand is red. And as you'll be on white and white, you have to get an extra pair. Also, have a nice RUBBER white shoe. This is easier to maintain and doesn't get dirty easily.

Overall, a very nice place to stay indeed.

Obubra camp is a big place but not to good for people to stay because they is not good Medical Center or provision of medicine to help regained yourself and there is one lillte animal in that place that look like ant when it hurt you that part of your body will be burn and again there water turn into red when you keep it for long time within 24 hours
