Lovely place, a safe environment ,the rooms are clean, very comfortable, the staffs were friendly and amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable, had access to the kitchen, you can order what you want, they have someone to help pick it up, free WiFi even Netflix surprisingly, it's like home away from home with their comfy beds .

Had a wonderful stay at the lounge, the staff were friendly and courteous accommodation was very neat with fresh fragrances,clean sheets and towels. The meals were sumptuous and had a taste of home cooking. The Jacuzzi was soothing and relaxing. i will recommend for individuals and families as well. Really an outstanding place in Port Harcourt, will definitely visit again...xxx

It has a serene environment with 24/7 security. The hotel doesn't have too many rooms but it's perfect for people who want to be away from noise.

I stayed in the platinum room and it was perfect. There is a hot tub in the bathroom, the room is a home away from home.

You can watch Netflix on the TV, there is also free wifi.

The room is big, there is a family-sized bed, a chair, and a table you can use to work, sofas to relax... There is also a veranda connected to the room.

I spent three days there with my family and I loved it there.

New in town and couldn't have be anywhere better than here. The rooms are nice and affordable. The entire staff crew are warm and welcoming. Just a feeling like you are home. And Ms Timi that will at all times ask us if we are ok. Chris and the kitchen crews are on point.

First a little introduction. Tarvena Hotel is a large townhouse that was repurposed to become a rather plush B and B. The lounge part refers to the outdoor seating that may be favoured by people who watch football. I think this description is important because the name of the establishment might give the impression of a raucous, loud place.

That said, I have stayed in many places all over the world but I have never seen a place like this that under-promises and over-delivers. All the pictures posted online are accurate and represent how cosy, clean and lush the accommodation is. The building is located in a gated estate and this offers security and privacy. The ambience is very cosy with a living room style lounge downstairs beside which is a view-in kitchen. The rooms are properly maintained, bedding and towels are impeccable (even for picky me) and the central areas are perfectly organised. The food is excellent and tasty and the chef is so willing to discuss and accommodate any meal requirements.

There is one more thing that amazed me about this hotel. Whatever formula or strategy the owner employs to deliver customer service should be studied in Nigeria. Absolutely everyone seemed dedicated to making the guests happy. From the manager to the gateman! No disgruntled employees taking out their frustration on guests and everyone literally bending over backwards to make you happy. This shocked me.
When we came into town we missed our way and the hotel sent someone to lead us on a bike through the right route. That someone turned out to be Fortune the Chef who made us laugh with his antics. When we arrived at the hotel the staff gathered to welcome us and help offload our luggage with so much delight like they knew us before! Thank you to Chiamaka, Kehinde, and Mercy, who never tired of my endless requests.

I am honestly totally delighted with my stay here. It is worth every penny paid and maybe even a little more. 1000% recommended.

They have a serene and comfortable facilities for your short stay or lodgement in Port-Harcourt Nigeria, they also have very lovely dish, I tried their Afang soup very nice delicacy with semovita, warmly reception shout out to Faith she's one of their staff overall experience was amazing will love to visit again.

Another hotel that is coded on doxa family church road, if you really want to rest your head without any noise please, I advice you to try Taverna Lounge and hotel they also have wonderful receptionist and affordable rooms and food price, also one unic thing about this taverna is that, it is never crowded just about 15 rooms available only.

Taverna is home away from home, just love everything about this Hotel. It's in a secured environment, great staff and mouth watering dishes. I recommend it to anyone that wants value for their money.

Located in a well secured and easily accessible area of Port Harcourt city. Friendly and respectful staff. I enjoyed the food from the kitchen. Will use again when in the area.
