Like every other government agencies, the Nigerian Immigration, Oyo State chapter is riddled with inefficiency and complacency. The attitude of the workers here is nothing to write home about. The queues and the crowd here every week day is alarming. Despite booking an online appointment, it takes several months to get your international passport. It's discouraging. There are talks that you have to pay an extra amount of money unofficially, to get your passport processed on time despite the fact that the official amount for a 32 page passport is 25000 naira and 64 pages is meant to about 50000 naira. We hope that the minister of interior will look into this and make necessary changes. God bless Nigeria.

The experience was alright. They seem to do things by the book. As long as you have all your documents ready and appear early on the day of your capturing, you don't have a problem.

The officers are always ready to support you. It feels like they gain something special by making customers feel well attended to. Of course, there are various areas the system can improve on but the customer service covers up a multitude of issues.

The officers in charge are very nice and they attend to the applicants with respect. The problem they have is crowd control while the sitting shade provided does not have adequate chairs, only two small ox fan, the heat there is unbearable finally they don't have constant power supply or backup at the waiting place provided.

This place is full security alert. They don't just allow anyone in without a tangible reason. I would love to work here someday.
P.s: Everyone I met here were welcoming.

The service is much more better now than then. Waiting period is minimised and you get attended to regardless of knowing someone or not. There is a parking space and business hub where you get to pay the fee required and fill forms. Transfer or POS transactions also available.

Nigeria Immigration service Ibadan offers a very good customer service in terms of passport processing the direction on how to register and how to retrieve your passport when it's ready is very easy and they don't charge high fee compare to Lagos. During this period of covid19 one needs to put on his or her nose mask before he or she can be allowed to enter into the compound. For those that wants to eat there are kiosk and shops selling snacks and food. There is a mosque inside the compound for those that wants to pray. Also they have a waiting arena for those that wants to do capturing and collect their passport too.

Mr Chike, Mrs Adejo and the entire staff were awesome. In 48 hours I got my passport. Great service from the form filling to the payment and data capturing process. Nigeria is working. My Ecowas passport is ready for travel. As an International Journalist of 24 years, It's important for it to be updated. Our diaspora colleagues will get their e-books soon as there has been a shortage in some countries. They also educated me on the upcoming approved 10 year passport. Nigeria is the BEST COUNTY IN THE PLANET! PERIOD!🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
