Where good hospitality is concerned, Ibom Icon Hotel and Golf Resort is streets ahead of the rest. The environment is world-class. The design is romantic. It has all the necessary facilities at the very top range. Given the quality of service and the comfort offered, the price is reasonable.

I didn't lodge in Ibom resort but was going there for my programmes and the days I was there I had a great experience. The best part of this experience was the meal time. The ala carte was always on point. The traditional dishes and the dessert were my best. I cannot forget mouth watering meals. I also enjoyed the long walk/ tour round the golf course. It is a good place to visit with family anyday.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Ibom Icon. The location and the serenity of the place is really nice. A perfect place for a getaway from the boisterous noise of the city. I really liked it. The food was really really good. I had a nice experience of akwa ibom delicacy as it was my first time. The service was really nice and the staff were polite and helpful. I totally recommend going, alone by yourself for a retreat or with friends or family 👍🏻

Quite a lovely, quiet, beautiful place to enjoy vacation times with loved ones any time any day. The staff are friendly, polite, decent, and honest. It's worth spending time there.

The Ibom Icon Hotel has the most beauty ambiance and the beautiful green scenery is definitely breathtaking. It is home to one of Nigeria’s finest golf course.

The place is beautiful and serene. Staff are friendly and it's the perfect place if you are looking for peace and quiet. It's a good place to go with your kids. They have a big kiddies pool and you'll have a hard time keeping your kids out of it. We will be returning

How do I start?
This is one of those luxury hotel getaways or better yet, a getaway resort of grand style. The Ibom Icon is Easily a 5 star resort ⛵ that's got a massive 18hole golf course, fully equipped gym, a water 🌊 front for boat rides, wonderful chalets and all ensconced in a plush vegetation view. Now the view is just nothing short of breath taking, no exaggerations here at all. I don't think I can speak to how beautiful this place is. Did someone ask about their rates per night ?😜😜
Of course that's the kicker, quite pricey at over 120k for their standard rooms but if you ask me, it's well worth it.... Absolutely! Thinking of a vacation🛫⛱🏨, this place serves that purpose 8.6 outta 10 and the city of Uyo is most welcoming. Trust me on that.

I know nothing lovelier in Uyo than the Ibom Icon Hotel & Golf Resort. I had a beautiful experience at the hotel. Even more captivating is its beautiful natural landscape. For water lovers, the hotel has different sizes of swimming pool for the expert swimmers and learners; adult and kids. They have a special buffet service on Sundays, you can eat to your fill from morning to whatever time your body can no longer take it...LOL.

Plus, they have a very great customer service.

The room infrastructure are a little dated, they need to upgrade to modernity! The TV was too small and felt like it was bought year 2000

The drinks and beverage lead, Sam hid ½ of our drinks under the table and refused to serve during our cocktail event

Pride of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. Keeps up to the 5 Star billing. A resort ⛵ in every consideration of it. Sunday buffet is very rich and attractive enough for a revisit at all times. The serenity is soothing to the soul of man!

Everything about this hotel is excellent. The food is excellent, prepared by talented chefs and cooks, they offer a wide range of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The architecture is amazing with an interior that is classy and exquisite but not overwhelming, it is rather homely and welcoming. It's facilities are all functional and in the best of conditions.

The staff are ever respectful, accommodating and ready to help. This includes every member of staff, from the reception to guest service to laundry to the dining staff.

The surroundings are the most beautiful I've had the opportunity to experience. A calming and enthralling combination of the human intentional with the natural spontaneous. Rolling fields of green, palm trees, rolling hills, an expansive golf course, a pier by the river, and a wonderful tour guide.

It was a very wonderful experience and I pray for an opportunity to revisit the place. It deserves every bit of the accolades it gets.

PS: It's a little far from the main town, so....

It's simply a paradise on earth.

Ran a retreat for MDA Executives at the Resort for one week and it was one of the best experiences in a long while for me. Everything worked and the staff were responsive!

Definitely five-star.

If you're looking for weekend getaways, this is the go-ahead.

Rooms are deluxe.

Customer service is topnotch. Worthy of mentions is the friendly Rozlyn Edet, a staff I met at the reception.
