ADO: Visions of a Legacy is a stage play musical based on the life of Emir Ado Bayero. The play is
staged at the backdrop of the golden jubilee coronation anniversary of the Emir. It is about one
week to the Emir’s golden jubilee celebration on June 15th 2013. The airwaves and atmosphere in
Kano are full of chatter about Ado Bayero’s reign. With the attempt on his life and the attack on the
Kano Emirate Council that had happened several months before, there are other layers of mystery
and wonder woven into conversations all around. The granddaughter of Emir Ado Bayero forces
their Takawa to recount several colorful moments of his reign. Takawa also privately ponders on
vivid colorful dreams that transport the audience into a multi-cultural experience that bring
reflections about the vastness of life and leaving a legacy.
Emir Ado Bayero CFR, LLD, JP was the 13th Fulani Emir of Kano and the longest serving Emir in
Kano’s history. He was born on July 25th 1930 and died on June 6th 2014. He was the Emir of Kano
from 1963 to 2014. He was one of the strongest and most powerful Emirs in the history of Hausa
land. He was seen as one of Nigeria’s most prominent and revered Muslim leaders who was a
successful businessman and had worked as a banker, police officer, MP and diplomat.

Lovely location. Very serene. Road to the area is good. Nice drive as well. Area is environmental friendly. Resort is located in a quiet place. Security is superb. Great expanse of land. Alot of animals to see. Great place for family. Children area well equipped with in door and outdoor area. There is a lake and so you can go for a ride. There is a shuttle that can take you around the resort. There is a chalet to sleep over, so you can consider a weekend or week stay. Beautiful place

The place is located close to wasai dam the weather is always nice because of that dam it has several gaming activities table tennis, snooker, race course horses swimming pools and a lemo to get u access to mini zoo and the horses stable and there is a boat that u will sail onto wasai dam an also a restaurant were u can order a food you like

Trust me, it's a very exciting place to be at. No dulling moments to be experienced.

It's a great place to visit. Personally am impressed with the general atmosphere of the resort and most especially the Golf Course. It's really green rather than brown and an uncommon feature in this of of Nigeria. I wish others will emulate the like of Senator Nakudu. We should endeavour to patronise such places.

A fantastic Resort with nice sight seeing, a well organized restaurant, fleet of speed boats, serene environment and well secured. No explanation can best describe the reality, it is better experienced.

Porto golf resort is often mistaken as a place for golfers only. Well, its name might be “Porto golf resort”, however, this golf resort is open to absolutely everyone. It is a place where you can relax after a very stressful week. This resort features a lake, a calm environment, and lush greenery.
