Not by its fault is this airport so small and basic. The best from that is your passage through is quick and seamless ie off the plane and through a short passageway and you’re at your pickup location. The FAAN staff are courteous and friendly. IMHO, the best thing is the descent into the airport. The topography is stunning with rocky outcrops dotting the green forest landscape.

They have a mini boutique where you can get any thing if you forget your toiletries . Its a small airport but really nice.

Well, this review will be divided into two. One for Akure Airport itself, the environment is okay but a lot of improvement can be done, the staff were friendly, nothing out of the what I expected. Regarding security, they have measures regarding this, reducing the luggage theft rate (which I was really please about). Second part of this review goes to Airpeace, their staff are really friendly and helpful

Basic at best but functional which is the key thing. The airport staff for airpesce tried to make pay extra when they could have advised me to shuffle by bags to accomadate my excess.

Akure airport is one of the airports in Nigeria with the largest land mass. The incumbent governor recently constructed a new terminal for arrival and departure and it's of acceptable standard. Although it has the potential to become international, it's currently underutilized.
