The market is located along the ever busy Epe - Mojoda -Ijebu Ode Road, in Poka town, opposite Pobo Primary School.
The market has acquired additional importance, beyond the people it was originally meant to serve with the emergence of new settlements and institutions such as hotels and schools in and around Poka. The degree program offered by a nearby College of Education, with the influx of additional students gave the market an added boost.
Pobo market is mainly a foodstuff market, however other products are now being sold as the market keeps expanding by the day. One striking feature about this market, which I have noticed, is that foodstuffs prices are generally cheap and always fresh as the market is not only close to the source of supply but easily accessible.
The last time I was at the market I purchased fresh fruits and I had value for my money.
