Jara Beach Resort

I love Jara Beach Resort so much. The location is so peaceful and relaxing, food & drinks are varied and plentiful, and the staff are friendly and so attentive. There are activities for all ages, my children were safe and free - they lived their best lives! I had an amazing time hanging out with friends too. Such a great experience: 10s across the board! I can’t wait to come back again soon!!

I want to salute the sweet and delicious food from Chef Alex, I must confess, He is a genius. I had a fantastic stay and I'll always come back for more of his awesome cooking experience. Thank you to Jara beach resort, I and my Friend from France had a great time. The room service is excellent and the attendants are friendly and loving.
I'll encourage you to keep up the good work. I hope the internet service can improve more as you keep up with this fantastic project.

Well for a start you must know Jara beach is a very far place. So if you're showing up for fun for one day... Be prepared. But you'd enjoy your stay if you pack up to stay for at least 2-3days.

Now real gist. I and my colleagues had so much fun for the day we went that we soon forgot about the stress of arriving there. From the welcome to the departure it was pure bliss. The water, the food, the games, we even had a team bonding session (the anchor, from the beach was amazing)

They let you get into the water but please be careful as always. The water is clean. The food, superb, and we had continuous supply of drinks, juices, milkshakes (platter we paid for). But we missed our chocolate tasting session. We had to head back home.

I'd definitely be back, but for a longer stay!

Beautiful and lots to eat, the food is on point. The drinks ,kept on coming none stop and you have lots to eat from break faster, lunch and dinner. Chef Alex, did a really good job. Well done team chef Alex

Customer Service- Amazing staff. They make you feel at home and are very professional. Customer service is spot on.

Ambience- I love the way the space is managed. I love the ambience and the beach view. The coconut tress and the way they. Really lovely place to visit

Just spent 9 nights at the resort. Thoroughly recommend getting a Villa. Have been in Africa for over 20 years and the service, food, staff and overall value for money, is way above other similar places I’ve stayed at. Actually, haven’t stayed at a sea side resort quite like this anywhere.
They get the “little” things right and it really is a breath of fresh air away from Lagos.
It took me just over an hour from Lekki Ph1 to get here, and when they’ve completed the road works I’ll be back in a heart beat.

Jara beach resort is definitely the best beach resort in Lagos. The resort is beautiful, the staff are super nice and friendly, and the atmosphere there smells pretty nice.

I love it there.

The only downside is the long drive time from the city centre. It was almost an hour and half driving from Lekki phase 1. But was the visit worth it? Absolutely!!!

My family and I had an amazing time at Jara Beach Resort, the first of its kind, and unarguably the only all-inclusive, oceanfront getaway in Lagos. The resort is located in Museyo, next to Eleko, in the Lekki axis OF Lagos State Nigeria. It’s the perfect place to escape from the stress of Lagos and enjoy some quality time with nature and yourself. The resort is family-run, and they treat you like one of their own. .

The resort is cozy and beautiful, with 13 rooms that have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed in the villa at the resort, but I must tell you that all the other rooms are just as amazing as the villa, and you get the same top-notch service all around the resort. The bed was so soft, and the pillows were fluffy. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and the shower had good water pressure. The best part was the balcony, where we could sit and watch the ocean and the sunset. It was so relaxing and peaceful.

The staff were very friendly, attentive, super nice, courteous, and helpful. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food and drinks at the resort were amazing. They had a variety of dishes, from international cuisine to local delicacies. The portions were generous, and the flavors were rich. The drinks were also great, especially the cocktails and the smoothies. They were refreshing and tasty. The chefs, the mixologist, the servers, the cleaners, the security guards are just superb! Every single meal churned out was delicious and tasty. The drinks were also plentiful and refreshing.

The resort has a lot of fun activities to keep you entertained. You can play table tennis, pool, board games, or read books and magazines. You can also work out at the gym, swim in the pool, or chill in a cabana on the beach. The beach is private and clean, and the water is clear and warm. You can also go for a walk along the shore or collect shells and stones. The resort is very quiet and serene, and the only sound you hear is the waves crashing on the shore.

I highly recommend Jara Beach Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and indulgent escape from the hustle and bustle of Lagos. Also, to anyone who wants to have a relaxing and indulgent vacation. It’s a hidden gem that offers great value for money. It’s like having your own mini paradise in Lagos.

A big thank you to the owners and all their staff. They are all trained professionally to cater and spoil you silly!!! My family and I are already planning the next trip and can’t wait to go back and experience it again.

Accommodations:
From the moment I stepped into my all-inclusive room at Jara Beach Resort, I was impressed by the thoughtful details. Clear signage guided me seamlessly, ensuring a hassle-free stay. The room, well-stocked and meticulously organized, felt like a home away from home.

Warm Welcome and Sustainable Efforts:
Upon arrival, a refreshing juice greeted me, setting the tone for the warm hospitality. The resort's commitment to sustainability was evident in every corner – from reduced plastic usage to the clever reuse of greywater. Vibrant colors not only added charm but also minimized heat absorption, a testament to their dedication to an eco-friendly environment.

Exceptional Staff:
The staff at Jara Beach Resort truly made the experience exceptional. Always ready to assist, their genuine happiness reflected in their work. Special gratitude to Mac, who played tennis with me during my solo stay, making me feel like part of a community.

Endless Entertainment:
For those seeking recreation, Jara Beach Resort is a paradise. Endless games, including table tennis, chess, tic-tac-toe, snooker, and volleyball, ensured there was never a dull moment. The resort's commitment to guest enjoyment was evident.

Immaculate Environment:
The resort's commitment to cleanliness was evident throughout. The environment remained squeaky clean, a testament to the dedicated team ensuring a pristine setting for guests to enjoy.

Departure and Future Plans:
As my solo trip came to an end, I found myself reluctant to leave the haven that is Jara Beach Resort. I've already started planning my return, eagerly anticipating the next opportunity to indulge in the serene atmosphere and genuine hospitality. Jara Beach Resort has secured a special place in my travel memories, and I can't wait to return when next I can get PTO at work.

I came at Jara Beach Resort, for one night, as a solo traveller & I'm writing this review while staying at Jara - every staff's hospitality, every food they serve, the way they have maintained every nook & corner of this property is truly awesome & mind boggling.
I will surely come back, again & again, with friends & family.

Our visit to Jara resort was all shades of amazing. Amazing staff,beautiful scenery and the intentionality of the food is second to none. We can't wait to come back 🙌

It was a beautiful experience for my family. Plenty fun activities, nice and safe swimming pool, clean ocean breeze. The food Ha! 👌 excellent!. The staff were all polite, pleasant, and patient. Isabella was sweet my sons loved her. Uncle Godwin, thank you for building their art spirit. Elizabeth was great in follow up from booking to departure period. Great staff all of them down to the utility staff. We'll done to management of Jara resort and keep the good work 👏

Jara is a real "slice of paradise" as advertised ❤. From the ease of online booking, check-in and check out; you get excellent service.

On arrival, we got an handwritten card to welcome us to Jara. Very thoughtful and personalized message - our names were on the card.

The resort is the on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean nestled in Museyo, Eleko-Lekki in Lagos, Nigeria. I and my children stayed in family room 9 for one night. The room has a bed that can be shared by 2 adults and a bunk bed.

On arrival, we had snacks and freshly prepared watermelon juice. We got to the resort an hour before our check in time. Jara fed us 3 square meals, more snacks and drinks during our stay. The food is delicious and catered to your nutritional needs. I am not a fan of sugar and use honey. Jara provided to me honey.

My children loved the pool, the book corner, the DIY, the children section, sports or gaming center and more. They even got to pick some sea shells. One of my children made a painting. We had amazing fun and made great memories.

Jara has great staff and customer service 👍.

Cons:

Jara is a distance to the mainland and the Island. We spent 2 hours to get to Jara and 3 hours back home. On both days, there was no rush hour traffic. If you want to go to Jara, please factor in the travel distance and remember to use the Google map.

The swimming pool doesn't have a cover. So, you need to supervise and monitor children closely. Jara has a notice which excludes Jara's liability for unsupervised children.

For now, that is all that I can remember. In the future, I may revise and update this review. However, my rating will be unaffected by the updates.
