Epe Fish Market

Spent some time buying and interacting with the market women here. Interestingly I have not seen a live Cray fish before until now.

I took time to ask questions on how they catch and sell the fishes, jokingly asked who named the fishes and all.

The market is neat and there are variety of sea foods to buy and even alligator.

If you a lover of fresh fish, you should definitely patronise the hard working women in the market.

Amazing Fish market with the Local Epe People selling fresh fish... Beautiful Scenery. Working in Epe gave me the privilege to take a walk to the local fish market by the Lagoon and what an amazing experience it was. I interacted with the local market women and the fishermen who kept coming with their boats to sell fish to the market women.

Typical local market anywhere in the world with fresh fish in their natural habitat. All kinds of seafood and animals available in this market for whosoever needs them. The difference is in the taste.

There's always fish at the market even on a Sunday morning. Sorry, I didn't take fish photos this time.

The market is obviously known for fish selling. The fishes are fresh from the river, smoked to your taste. There's also season's where the fishes aren't in surplus so then they are quite pricey but when it's the fish season be sure to get it at a very affordable price. The Eja osun lol don't know how it's spelt but that's the best fish.

Your bargaining power is fully needed, 😄 the water area and environment is an awesome view. Various kind of awesome fishes, making up your mind might be quite difficult 🤗🤗

So I went to Epe fish market on a field trip tho,it was really fun and exiting. There were different species of fish in the Epe market, the market is based mainly on fish but they also deal with Bush animals like grass cutter, antelope, alligator and the likes. I also had the opportunity of ridding in a canoe on the Epe lagoon and we had an interactive session with our tour guide. Epe fish market is the place to go if anyone wants to buy different species of fish especially in large quantities.
Below I shared some pictures of some of the fishes I saw and even the bush meats too,couldn't post all, because it's so many and that could be data consuming, lol.

Epe fish market is a friendly market with amazing species of premium fishes. The traders are mostly women who are very friendly to costumers and tourist. The market is known for selling fishes while they're still alive. While the women are known for selling fish, the men do the fishing. It's an interesting market.

It has all kind of lovely fresh water fish in here... Nice and cool environment

Nice Place and the people are friendly but you have to be sharp and stay active to avoid over charging.

I loved the sight of fresh fishes. The women were nice, got fish at affairs price, and I also took pictures. My kids were excited

You will not only see rare type of fishes, but also reptiles and other bush animals like alligator, monitor lizard, grasscutters; life and processed! But their stuff are quite expensive
