Security organs of the government in the area includes. Police , Civil Defence , Yammanga, and the two branches of the military are the Airforce and Land force Barracks.
There are two main religions praticed in the area Christianity, Islam and other minorities.
There are also two main hospitals which are Government General Hospital, Getchang and other mini clinics.
The only bank that operates fully in the area is UBA that always have a lot of traffic. Other small organs that are benifiting from lack of multi-banks is the POS units.
