Nice place for vacation and weekend hangouts. The fall is very attractive to the site and it's quite affordable for a hangout, recreation, vacation, hiking, etc.

As I ventured into this natural wonder, I was greeted by the enchanting sight of cascading water flowing gracefully over rocks, creating a symphony of soothing sounds. The lush greenery surrounding the falls added to the serenity of the place, making it feel like a hidden paradise. I couldn't resist immersing myself in the crystal-clear pool formed at the base of the falls, the cool water rejuvenating my senses. The refreshing mist and the gentle touch of the breeze transported me into a state of tranquility, far away from the chaos of everyday life. It was a truly unforgettable experience, and I left Arinta Waterfalls feeling reconnected with nature and energized by its beauty.

The place is beautiful. You'd appreciate nature. You can hike or you can just stop at the waterfall. Make sure you enter the water, that's the most enjoyable part.
Just make sure to pack sneakers if possible a waterproof one or crocs, a change of clothing, food/snacks to eat before and after.

Myself and some members of my department had our first excursion trip in Arinta Waterfall, Ipole Iloro. I must admit that it was a pleasing moment, fun, memorable and most importantly cascade torrent of the water fall is enjoyable.

I enjoyed the memories that's bound to this waterfall.

Arinta waterfalls in one of the many natural wonders in Nigeria. It is located in a quiet and peaceful village in Ipole Ekiti,Ekiti state. If you want to visit, kindly make sure you have adequate planning for transportation (Bicycle is the best means of transportation if you're a solo Traveler) as the place is a bit far to town.

The road to Arinta Waterfalls is good.

Beautiful skies, peaceful environment, and a water fall. It shows nature in all it's glory and beauty.
It has 7 levels and one has to climb to get to the higher levels. Feels like an adventure.

Arinta water fall is about 20 minutes drive away from Ikogosi warm spring. Entrance is not free. The curator there closes by 6pm as we were informed. The waterfall paints a beautiful picture of nature. I think the beauty of the waterfall isn't being proclaimed enough. The Ekiti State Government should invest in tourism as it's a very great way of generating income.

A foremost tourist destination in Ekiti West Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Arinta Waterfalls is a natural wonder to behold in the ancient city of Ipole Iloro.

The community harbouring the waterfalls, Ipole Iloro is a rural settlement surrounded by undulating mountains, thick evergreen forest and flowing rivers. The waterfall is a favourable destination for holidaymakers and local tourism. According to the Oba (king), the Olupole of Ipole Iloro, Oba Babatola Oladele, the waterfall has been in existence before Oba Alapa-Ajalorun, one of the grandchildren of Oduduwa, founded the town in the 14th century. The waterfall influenced the decision to settle in Ipole Iloro as it is a good source of water for domestic use and drinking.

Features of Arinta Waterfalls

A long steep valley, undulating ridges and tall deciduous trees characterize the waterfall. It has lush green vegetation around it and various insects, bird colonies and large water mass flowing against the rocks. Arinta Waterfalls is made up of seven different layers (cascades) each with unique features.

There is a cobblestone of about 25cm in diameter in one of the seven cascades of the waterfall. It is often referred to as the ‘Wonderful Stone’. This stone is believed to be a rare mystery. It is heavy to the extent that up till today, nobody has been able to lift it. You might just create a Guinness book of record by becoming the first person to lift the cobblestone.

Also, water from the fall is believed to have medicinal value. It is said that it has the power to cure skin diseases. However, the waterfall is not regarded as a deity or worshipped.

Love this place so much. I had fun and enjoyed every aspect. The water was so natural and soothing. Good road network too and I enjoyed every aspect as tour guide and organizer.

Arinta Waterfalls in ipole Ekiti state is the closest place I have felt to heaven in Nigeria. The scenery is out of this world and the landscape is mind blowing. I was pushed to tears at my first sight of this natural edifice because you don't get to see something of such immense beauty everyday. If you haven't been to this place yet, you might not fully understand the depth of what I am trying to propose to you. Please make visiting this place a must on your to-do list if you haven't yet. I hope to keep visiting it at least once every year to rejuvenate the pleasure I felt the first time I went there.
