It was an amazing experience! The food was delicious and they prepared it quickly which I appreciated cause I had an hour of my break and needed to eat and get back within that timeframe.

The ambience of the restaurant was beautiful and a bit private. The prices were affordable even with the price hike, and the service was exceptional! I highly recommend visiting the Charcoal Grill!

Definitely a fave for me especially for their BREAKFAST of which you can’t go wrong with.

This restaurant has been on for years and they still maintain top notch services.

Simply & lightly decorated clean space with courteous staff who comes to quickly take your order upon arrival. However when it gets very busy getting their attention is quite difficult.

Food taste good, the portions are big enough and prices are mid range. Full English / American Breakfast cost around N4,500-N5,000. Main dishes around N3,000-4,000
A lunch or dinner for two will cost around N10,000-N15,000

I always visit here & will definitely recommend for very simple outings and/or breakfast.

The first time I was here I tried the American breakfast and it was superb!!! Loved it! I visited weeks after and tried the Mexican prawn salad with the Italian dressing. It was absolutely tasty! I'd highly recommend that for starters. What I didn't like was the "Nigerian Bole and Mackerel in pepper sauce". It tasted like plantain and fish stew. I got the chance to try their snail sauce and French fries. The snails were BIGGG and delicious! 🤭😂 The drinks were good. The customer service was top notch, and the rooftop lounge was quite windy and serene. Good choice of music for date nights and all round good vibes.

I'll advise that you serve lots of ice with cocktails. Abuja is hot and everything melts away in seconds. 😅 So far, I'd visit here again. It's definitely worth the hype and you get good value for your money.

Now, let's talk about the food. Oh boy, it was absolutely delicious! The burgers were perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor.

We dined here for breakfast for a large family with young kids and had a great time. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had some confusion with the menu items ordered but no biggie because the portions were large (we overordered bc of hunger, lol). The egg sauce was so tasty, and the prawns were delicious! So in love with the food scene in Abuja right now. Definitely will return!

Go-to spot, every time.

Very nice apace and ambiance. Friendly and polite staff. Service was a bit slow and I guess it was because they had a lot of customers to attend to. I Had their Grilled Giwan Ruwa with spicy rice (and a glass of Chapman) and it was lovely while my friend had Bibi Mix Grill with spicy rice/ fried plantain and it was was heavenly and very filling!!! Will definitely come back and try other dishes. 😊✌🏾

Been there 2ce and ordered their English Breakfast each time. It costs N6,000 with a glass of Fresh Juice, I promise you will be FULL, that’s if you can attempt to finish it, the Omelette will of course be made to your specification, to be honest you’ll love it. I loved it. I will visit The Charcoal Grill again soon

One of my favorite restaurants in Abuja.
The prices are decent and the food is great!
Friendly and efficient staff.
On average, an order takes about 20 minutes to arrive. They used to serve free popcorn to guests on arrival, but they don’t seem to do that anymore.
I recommend this place for a quiet meal (where you can have a decent conversation without having to yell).
As for the food, I recommend the full English breakfast, the peppered Gizzard and the cocktails.
NOTE: You have to climb about 3 flights of stairs, and there are no lifts or escalators/ wheelchair accessibility.

The foods are really nice and quite affordable. Very cool refreshing lighting. Good parking space

Had Christmas eve lunch here, and I was totally impressed. Cheated on my meal plan... All the meals ordered were on point; the shakes too were satisfying! The waiters are quite professional. Freindly atmosphere 😊

Delicious affordable breakfast. So filling for one person heavy on the portion and I love the presentation. Airy environment too. Sometimes the place gets overwhelmed with customers and that leads to slow service apart from that they are good. Breakfast is like $10

This is the first time I engaged them for breakfast and they did not dissappoint. English breakfast, made on time, made to taste and really filling.

Loved spending time at Charcoal. The waiters were excellent, the smoothies were superb and the food was awesome. The bathrooms were also really clean and the menu items were reasonably priced. The only downside, I think, is that the menu is not very varied and all the meats are frieddddd. An awesome experience nevertheless

Great staff from the enterance, great ambience, a nice place to hang out with a partner or a group of friends, awesome view too and a totally nice location. I was there for breakfast and it was totally mindblowing. This is somewhere you should try out. Oh, their champán is awesome.

I also think they may need to consider an elevador, considering that they are on the topmost floor, some of us have weak knees🤦‍♀🤦‍♀🤦‍♀

Over all, it is lovely.

This place has got great ambience. You can choose to be indoors or outside on the terrace. The terrace (my favourite spot) is got a great view of the city. They serve all kinds of tea and coffee flavours. I enjoyed the food here. My guest was impressed as well

Had lamb and mashed potatoes.
This is the best mashed potatoes I’ve had in Abuja so far

The lamb could have spent more time on the grill/oven because it was undercooked

Drinks was really good and overall, the food is great and very affordable!
