I experienced River crossing by sailing across using the local boats. Very interesting place and fun. First you will have the leave whatever vehicle you are on to enter the inside the boat. I life jacket is been put on by the passenger. The sitting arrangements is order and the sailor usually a small boy will sailed the the boat across to the other side.
I also learned that a Beach is organized annually by the indigenous people of Buruku and is been done during the Christmas festive period.

Wonderful

Be that as it may, the ferry is safe and the locals accommodating. With very little statistics of boats sinking. With the level of income being generated by the locals, i don't think the government would be building any bridge there soon.

Ferries are privately owned by locals and are essentially engine-powered, locally made boats. They get you across to the other side, in timely fashion, and a bit more organisation and infrastructure would make it a perfect.

I give 3 stars for the rather man powered loading and unloading of vehicles.

Costs are about 1000 - 1500 per car/SUV as at December 2018
