Obinocha village is pacesetter in a lot of ramifications one of them being the first village in Nkwerre to construct an upstairs as village hall before other villages like Umunaga, Obinocha etcetera. As far back as 1964 what else do you expect, being the birth place of the great Ihekwoaba and other illustrous sons of Nkwerre. The hall was later modernized and is now wearing a new look.
