The first impression as we stepped in was, the shop is quite clean and orderly. Food was piping hot and there was a clear seperation of both Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian Food. It was a welcomed sight, as it is also the Thaipusam Season.

My wife decided on getting their Nei Sorru, with Vegetarian Mutton Peratal, Saambar, Fried Chicken and Spinach. I opted to take their BLR Set and added on a serving of Chicken Varuval and Mutton Varuval. We both also ordered Limau Ais to wash it all down.

The BLR set, itself came with Cucumber, Fried Snake Gourd and Water Gourd Sohti. I opted to take their Par Boiled Rice. The curries were offered were Fish Curry, Chicken Curry and Saambar.

The Chicken Varuval hit the spot! It was not dry. Moist, Spiced and seasoned to perfection. Not oily. We liked the fact that the chicken was skinless, which I feel could drybout easily, but that wasn't the case. The pieces were big and portion was generous. It was more than enough for both of us.

The Mutton Varuval was cooked with bone in. The pieces just like the chicken was big and generous. The mutton was tender, with its "Thalipu", could be seen and tasted. There were very few fatty pieces. There was no gamey smell nor taste associated with mutton.

The spice level was quite nice, not entirely cranked on the heat but sinfully delicious. It was quite a meal, as we took our time to settle down.

This restaurant offers a wonderful selection of Indian food. You pick up your plate and load it up with some rice, then proceed with curries, veg, chicken or fish. Fantastic variety and I have been here multiple times and never disappointed. Highly recommend if you are looking for some tasty Indian food.

The food was good and delicious. 22 of us, went around 3.30pm yet the food was still hot. Good service and felt like home cooked meal. The price was so reasonable or should I say cheap. We ordered variety of chicken dishes, set rice, banana leaf good, keerai curry, paal appa. Very satisfying, plan to go again.

Cooler air-conditioning would be a plus point, food is not pricey and affordable but tasty

Great food at affordable prices. Our group had a multitude of vegetarian dishes, which was cooked perfectly, not salty or MSG loaded, tasty, fresh, Rasam was phenomenal. Some of us had fried spicy ikan bawal and tomato chicken, a definite 👍. Super delicious food, highly recommended it.
