The Chateau Spa & Wellness Resort

When we were driving up the hill, we could already enjoy the cooling breeze along the route. Upon reaching the hotel, the security guard guided us to leave our luggage for the porter. And then proceeded to carpark.

After taking the lift to check-in counter, we were then personally welcomed by Mark, the manager. He gave us a brief tour of the hotel. Explained almost everything and whether we can access certain facilities such as VIP reading lounge for free.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday here, I had only requested for roses to be spread on bed to create a surprise for him. The hotel took further efforts to provide a birthday cake. A very sumptuous blueberry cheesecake indeed. We would like to express our gratitude again if Mark reads this.

We enjoyed the stay so much there’s no time for photos. Waking up to green hill was such a pleasant to the eyes. Overall, a very good experience and hence very recommended for stay.

I should give more than 5 stars for the service. What I like about their exceptional service are:
1. They park your car while you check in (like valet)
2. You don't have to go to counter to check in, they come to you
3. The welcome drink was nice
4. The housekeeping come to your room and ask if you need anything.. normally we have to call them right
5. They show you around.. where all the facilities are
6. The environment is cool & quite
7. Don't have to queue for buffet breakfast
8. The food selection also variety
And lot more.. these are all in my own experience.. hope others will have the same

Nice place, I amaze with the beauty of the castle so dreamy just like a fairytales. All the staffs were really friendly, helpful kind and always smile. They compliments us with the nice choc truffles. About foods, our dinner and breakfast, both are really good. Also not forget to the manager Mr mark, he is very helpful with my check out process. In a simple word, the experience at The Chateau were so amazing and wonderful 🤩 they are really deserving 10/10. Surely will come again 👍

Hotel room & facilities:
Don't be fooled by the online photos of the hotel, we booked our stay with low expectations, thinking it will be run-down and old. To our surprise, the hotel is nothing but spectacular quality! The façade is extremely gorgeous and well-maintained despite the down-period of covid. We love the vintage but high-class design of the hotel, we felt like we were in a castle (not the haunted kind). Our room was clean and spacious, with beautiful view across the mountains and valley.

Service:
When we checked in, we were greeted with a welcome drink, the Hotel Manager on duty, Mark, gave us a tour of the hotel and did a superb job in introducing what the hotel had to offer. 10/10 service from him.

Food:
We did not try any of their dining options, only had the buffet breakfast, where the restaurant is located right by the poolside so the view was great. The buffet had a good spread but we felt the ingredients of the breakfast, like the nasi lemak rice, sausages and other items could be better in taste. The pastries were fine though.

Location:
As the hotel is located on the mountain, it is quite secluded with only few attractions like The Colmar Tropicale (3-5min walking distance) and Japanese Garden (did not have chance to visit). There is also a adventure park nearby if you are looking for more activities. For us, it was meant to be just a relaxing and chill one-night stay so we enjoyed ourselves.

Security:
There are several security checkpoints before entering the premises to ensure the guest's safety. Furthermore, we received a call from the receptionist that the security noticed one of the guest car's window was not winded up. We would like to commend them for being vigilant.

Very much enjoyed my stay here. Friendly staff and high customer service oriented people, who make you feel welcome at the property. Provided us a nice lounge to sit and offered us with a drink prior to our check in. Room was clean and the king bed was super comfy! All in all, I have to say that we were treated like VIP during our stay at the Chateau and honestly was the best experience.Thank you to all the staff at The Chateau😘👍🏻

The environment was so good. Very good services.. I'm come there for celebrate our 2yrs anniversary.. At the room they provided swan towel, complimentary anniversary cake and small decoration for dinner. I really enjoyed the moment. Room clean and food delicious. Recommend. Thank you for all staff

Lovely resort.
We went for a family holiday and really had a great time.
Excellent, polite and attentive service by staff at reception, restaurants , housekeeping and the Spa.
Excellent Indian fine dining restaurant onsite with good choice of vegetarian food.
The location is fantastic for visiting Genting Highlands and next to the French Village and Japanese Gardens.
This resort is great for shutting off and just chilling out.
Highly recommended and we definitely intend to return.

Had a wonderful experience during our stay here. A place to relax with less crowd and pleasant weather. Staff were helpful, polite and welcoming. Room was good and clean. Breakfast pleasantly sufficient. High tea set was delicious and worth it. With not much people around, it felt very private and peaceful.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We loved the family room and the nearby activities i.e. japanese garden, french village. Hotel staff were all pleasant and friendly. Mr Mark took care of us really well, and we received 5 star service from him. The hotel is quiet, peaceful and just beautiful. Perfect for a weekend gateway to relax and unwind.

I decided to stay one night at The Chateau Spa & Wellness Resort on my way back to KL from Kuantan, as I was trying to avoid the anticipated CNY traffic congestion. In all honesty, I didn't have much expectation. Boy, I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the place was. By far, it's the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in in my entire life, and I've stayed in numerous hotels before this. A quiet room is all I need when I stay at any hotels and The Chateau delivered it excellently. The room was really spacious and the view was magnificent. Shout out to Mr Mark who went all out to make me feel so welcomed and comfortable during my stay. He personally called me up to ask if I was okay during my stay. He made sure that the check-out process was smooth and he personally sent me off with his friendly and convivial banter. I will definitely come back again. This place is highly-recommended.

Great place to visit. Staff is super friendly, surrounding is also nice. I rated with 5 for service in advance, overall it was quite pleasant but there was some disappointment during checking in when our friends changed rooms 3 times because they were either not cleaned up or occupied by someone else. Also we couldn't check in at 3 pm as well because our room hadn't been cleaned up yet. To sum up there are definitely some checking in issues.

It was a real wonderful experience for my family to stay over at the pristine Le Chateau over the last weekend... Their personalised warm welcome, like own family's hospitality & the ambience truly added to the awesome experience! A must visit resort for those wanting a well deserved get away from the daily stressful life in the city!

Had a drive up with my group. The road up was interesting with many curves. When I arrived, I needed to do an early check-in due to work and they were kind enough to arrange. Concierge brought me to my room helping me with my bags. View was also amazing!

Im amazed with the building. The services was very good. The facilities, complimentary everything is superb. Also we had a surprise during our stay and they gave us cake and swan decoration in our room..

Great venue for garden wedding hosting. But not too good for holiday. Not many eatery/restaurant near the vicinity. Not much to do around the area.

Room is a little old. Toilet bowl somehow easily clogged but the receptionist taken care of it pretty quickly after complain. Props to them.

Had a very pleasant stay. Beautiful scenery and wonderfully warm, friendly and hospitable staff. The spa was a perfectly pampering experience. A great getaway with a quiet atmosphere.

Had such a lovely mini honeymoon with my husband here. We just wanted to have a break after a long year of planning the wedding and this was just the perfect place to be. My friends thought we were in France when I posted photos of the view from our room.

If there’s something for me to nitpick, it’d be that a housekeeper walked into our room with me inside because he saw my husband leaving and he thought the room was empty. That gave me quite a shock because I thought he was a robber breaking into our room.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude with the staffs here in The Chateau , what makes this place so special is not the Hotel or the facilites here but the staff it self. We were greeted with the most pleasant and heartwarming staff Mark and Aisha, Never ever we had experience such as this before in any Hotel we stayed in, not just that, the way they conducted the intineary for the whole stay here in the Chateau was also well plan and organised.

The overall staycation was quite relaxing with beautiful scenaries. I would like to thank the staffs for providing great services especially Mr. Mark was very helpful throughout. Guddos to him !
As for the f&b, there were not much choices for us but in term of other facilities, all was good. We had the ooportunity to join the lion dance performances as well. Recommend if you want a relaxing vacation !!
