Heritage Town Cafe Gopeng

Came here because the place we wanted to eat at was closed, and based on the Google reviews we had pretty low expectations.

Unlike the other reviews, the waitresses were attentive. We were seated immediately, and our orders came very fast. Ample seating indoors/outdoors, when we were leaving, there were still many empty tables

We ordered claypot lau shu fun ✅✅, salted fish fried rice (huge portion)✅✅, yinyong wa tan hor (huge portion)✅✅, salted egg fries (slightly soggy but great taste) ✅✅, lamb chop✖, pork burger✅, seafood cheese baked rice✖ and also the sotong paku (not kangkung!)✅✅ from the stall outside, for 6 pax.

Unanimous votes that we would recommend all the Chinese food except for the cheese baked rice which had a rather strange curry sauce in it.
The pork burger had a vote for reordering because of the good value price (rm17.9) rather than the taste.

Total bill including 4 drinks = 135.10 + RM16 (sotong paku)

This restaurant is beautiful and antique, with splendid food which are rather inexpensive. It gets crowded once it gets late, which is after 7, so it is recommended to arrive there early if you wish to enjoy a peaceful meal. The meals include western and chinese cuisine, and lovely ice blended drinks, coffee and a variety of fruit juice as well.

If you decided to having 10~15 person gathering I very recommend you book a karaoke room for dinner (you're required to spend more than RM300) The meal provided a lot of food for choice like chicken chops, spaghetti and also Chinese food. I'm recommend you the Hainanese chicken chop and pair with the passion fruit tea.Passion fruit tea taste sour and sweet.The decoration of environment look very retro. The price is acceptable, but during weekend there will be crowded and need too wait quite longer for preparing you meal.

This spot was suggested by friends in the Gopeng area. The place was beautiful, rustic and intimate. Food is reasonably priced and the portions range from medium to huge. Definitely worth it. If you eat small portions, its best to share with a friend. Perfect for dates, insta shots and reunions. We were a group of 8, without reservation. Special mention for the staff who accommodated our birthday surprise request. Friendly wait staff. Highly recommended.

Overall is nice especially the coffee and curry chicken with bun serving.

A nostalgic and beautiful place where people can take a lot of pictures there. The atmosphere is good and the waiters there are friendly and diligent.
