Service was fast.
Food was great. Prefer dolce tart over eclairs. Eclairs was just okay for me.
Read that it was on the sweet side, expected the desserts to be sweet but it was just nice. Love it. The tart crust was delicious. However, the hot chocolate was a bit sweet.

Genius tip! We ordered through Beep (link in their bio) at opening to skip the queue (thanks, Google reviewers (@haebaraki)!). Huge variety and amazing eclairs - generously filled (original > chocolate).

I’ve put on list to visit whenever we stay in Cherating but never accomplished until this round, it’s completed. Not many pastries options during my visit, however I really loved their Ice latte, so tasty!

All food was nice, acceptable…but foremost, I found the best so far, their homemade creme bruleè compared to another place I’ve tasted before.

Overall, 4/5.

Tried the creme brulee. Initially it was sold out, but a fellow tourist came telling me she saw it available on Grabfood. It was 6pm Monday. Shop closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Tasted good and can feel that it was made with love and pride.

Pro tip: make an order through beepit at 1pm when they started to open their shop (can find the link at their instagram) all the available desserts can be ordered online and to be picked up later, up until 7pm. No need to queue when u come, just pickup your order at the counter. Most of their best selling desserts like chocolate eclairs, creme brulee and creampuff sold out in 30 minutes. Though i ordered at 1pm for 2 choc eclairs, they forgot to reserve my order early might be because they're busy entertaining customer offline, so they reserve 1 chocolate eclairs only for me, so disappointing. But they do apologize during phone call, and asking whether i want to refund or change to another dessert. They got open space limited seats in front of the shop by the roadside. The price is quite cheap for me. Their chocolate eclairs are the bomb! It's sinfully delicious! The inside cream was light and i can feel hint of bitterness of the chocolate which i lovee. The choux was crisp and puffy!! The creampuff wasn't too sweet, the cream inside was light and creamy! Walnut and dolce tart was okay for me, it was nice but it did not gave any wow factor to me, i'd prefer eclairs over tart. Pls give a try for their chocolate eclairs you'll never regret!

Parking on road shoulder here sooo limited, same with their pastries lol. Everyday they made it fresh, so it will first come first serve basis, easy to out of stock. Better buy through Instagram link before come (only can buy when the shop is open, no early order)

Pastry very good, bun is soft, tart is crunchy. We can taste the quality for each! But for the value given, still think that it's bit pricey. Perhaps they can increase the size bit bigger or adjust the price somehow.

Limited seat there, so recommend to eat near beach which just 5 minutes walking. Feel the beach breeze while eating their pastries just fantastic! Recommended pastry shop if you come near Cherating!

We drove 3 hours just to get these desserts. They’ve got a number system to ensure that the chef knows how many can be served and also to avoid one person buying everything. Be sure to come early as we were 6 minutes late and the numbers are finished. However, we were told to just wait in line anyway and see if there’s any luck in getting whatever that is left. Thankfully we managed to get most of the desserts. The popular ones such as the crime brûlée and strawberry tart were finished unfortunately. We really enjoyed the chocolate tart. The others that we had such as almond, walnut, caramel chocolate and kaya cheesecake were not bad as well.

Great dessert, affordable price & clean cafe 👍 the cafe is small but you can spot it from far because of the signboard. It also walking distance from Royal Chulan Chalet. They sell coffee too. Must try cafe in Cherating!

EDIT: their tarts, eclairs & creme brulee are way way better than some hipster cafe is KL. Worth to try, worth to queue and I definitely will come again. The prices are definitely fit the quality.

The cafe open at 1pm, I went there during weekdays and no need to queue. You can order slowly, take your time, but don't come late, around 5pm ish most of the pastry already sold out :)

Wonderful pleasant ambience accompanied with jazz music, friendly and helpful staff, we are truly mesmerize with the warmth and welcoming service, parking is bit hard but may park at the road side, the tarts are really lightly sweet and soul fulfiling, we tried Lemon meringue ( sweet and sour ), Dolce tart ( sweet buttery alike butterscotch ), Walnut tart and Almond tart ( sweet, caramalised and nutty ), we tried throughout our 4 days stay at Cherating, the tarts are truly statisfying and enjoyed till the last bite. They are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Advisable to come early at 1 pm to try out their top selling Salted Caramel cheese cake. Its a beautiful place near to Ombok Cafe and Dont Tell Mama Beach Cafe. There is a is a coin laundry nearby too.

Coffee is ok but the tarts are to die for. Spoilt or choice. Love the coffee tarts an hubby loves the almond tarts. The downside is there is only 2 tables so we have to take away and eat it in the car

Sayang... too far from KL

Lovely cafe service french pastries. We had eclairs and chocolate tart. It was ok but not really worth if you need to line up to be honest. Just order via beepit 👍

Their dessert deserves the highest star!

1. Food
I personally enjoyed their walnut tart. It was crunchy, and just the right amount of sweet. Totally a nice dessert. Their lemon tart...I am usually not a fan of anything lemon but this was exceptional. I like them since it's not too sour. Coffee éclair was my favourite. I think the coffee was nescafe? But it wasn't bad, I enjoyed it.

2. Service
I arrived around 1pm-ish and there was quite a line (on a Thursday). I think it's always best to check their Instagram account to see what menu is available on that day before queuing so you won't take longer to think what to buy. Mind you it was scorching hot. The girls who attended to me was lovely!

3. Space to dine in
Well there weren't much seating available. I hope they will add more place for people to chill around. Understandable that people can take away and enjoy it by the beach.

For the price you're paying, it's worth it :)! Do stop by when you're in Cherating. Definitely not another viral place, just good food and business here.

The term "pâtisserie" refers to both French pastries and the pastry shop where they are sold. French and Belgian bakeries are only allowed to use the term "pâtissier" (master pastry chef) if they employ a licensed maître pâtissier (master pastry chef).
An Italian, French, or Belgian bakery specializing in pastries and sweets is referred to as a pâtisserie, the term used to describe the items they sell.
A pâtisserie sells cakes and other sweet treats.
It is only a three-hour and thirty-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur to a little Pâtisserie shop in Cherating, Pahang, called Cafe Marion.
They offer a wide range of desserts, from classic lemon meringue and creme brulee tarts to croque monsieurs.
In addition to the Kaya Cheesecake, they have added jars of salted butter caramel, which can be eaten on toast or other ways.

This place is so quaint, and it fits perfectly within the quaint little village of Cherating Lama, with their narrow little roads, neat little pavements and the vicinity to the sandy white beach and blue waters. Island life on the mainland. Next door is a tie die shop, like how much more island-ish can this place be?

We came a bit later in the afternoon so there were only a few selection left. My fave would be the salted caramel and cream in butter shell, the choc and caramel was a favorite with the kid. We lingered for a while because it was a quiet, sunny yet breezy day.

I hope they can upgrade to proper coffee because the pod coffee doesn't pair well with the good quality tarts imho.

5 star still for excellent dessert, and managing to survive the viral crowd.

Tasted just nice. Unable to taste their walnut and fruit cheesecake due out of stock. Hopefully can come again soon. Few tips for queue, avoid coming during peak hours especially between 12-2pm, we came in just after 2pm and no queue at all but ready for the stocks to finish up asap. Recommended 👍🏼

A suprisingly fantastic find in Cherating. Small and cozy cafe with to-die-for desserts. Loved the lemon meringue tart! The smooth, rich and tangy lemon curd topped with sweet, nicely toasted meringue is perfect for a lazy afternoon!
