Restoran Yee Lok Parit

Only managed to check out this famous coffee shop on my second trip. Didn't know that are only open half day on Sundays. The nasi kandar is also closed on Sundays. Nasi lemak for breakfast was sold out when we reached there around 12 p.m. Originally planned for lunch but ended up trying out the roti goyang & toast which made it worth the trip & didn't leave empty handed. The iced kopi-O was good too. Both the boss & lady boss were very friendly & hospitable. Was told that the shop was handed down by the boss' father & it's been around for more than 6 decades.
You can't miss it as it's right beside the town's clock tower landmark, right in the middle of the town.

Clean and nice food

A quaint little Chinese coffee shop that’s still a little bit stuck in time with its collection of antiques on display, one of which, an old radio, actually works, providing the music for shop.

Breakfast is as Malaysian as it gets — toast and eggs, butter cakes (made by the lady boss herself) or roti canai (run by a Malay lady), or nasi lemak (sold by a Malay couple). Only in small towns like this do you see different races patronising a Chinese shop. Didn’t see any non-muslim boycott here.

A great stopover if you’re bypassing the main hiway towards Kuala Kangsar or Bruas. The shop in right next to the town’s ancient clock tower.

Sungai Perak 就在附近。

Barli Lemon suam, Nasi Kandar ayam goreng, kuah kari ikan , telur masin & sayur 👍🏻 jika lalu kawasan ini jangan lupa singgah. Harga berpatutan & kedai juga dalam keadaan bersih. Kedai ini betul2 depan jam besar Tower yang warna kuning tu.
