Chuan Fong Coffee Shop

A little difficult to find the shop as it was not a corner lot and there were a lot cars parked in the front or the row of old shops, plus it was drizzling. The noodle stall at the front was closed. Only drinks and toast were available but it was worth the long drive here. Love the kaya and butter toast bread. Butter was half melted and half in tiny thin slices. Well toasted bread...light and very crispy. The second best toast I have ever tasted. The first was from Klang. I couldn't get enough of it and I ordered another set with just butter to dip into half boiled eggs. Coffee was thick enough. It was a perfect ending.

Low profile coffeeshop. I suspect more regulars then walk-in customers. We googled and pitstop here for bread and toast. But the yong tau foo was a nice surprise. Simple layout yet delicious.

had a very delicious brunch during driving to IPOH. the service is very sweet. the boss also warm hearted. the toast and half boiled egg is very nice and coffee is the best in the region! strongly recommend to those who are driving by and definitely for sure I will drop by everytime I go to IPOH.

Very local taste with friendly and hygienic owner which makes local kopitiam comfortable and worth another visit.

The best old school tea time / coffee shop which provide authentic hainan coffee and butter kaya bread, available steam or grilled. There is also a mee stall known for wantan mee in this shop. Only open for business afternoon.
