Daddy’s Cafe

We went there on Friday night. Surprisingly, there isn't much diners. The food are awesome, with deco on par. The drinks are absolutely nice also with the view. The weather on that day isn't very good, we don' really catch the sunset but we are still able to enjoy the nature breeze.

Went here 5 times in 3 days. Their curries are very tasty and will make you full. If you like something smaller, try the sirloin steak which has been delicious. We ordered it medium rare.

Their Mutton Curry Rice is my favourite! It is delicious with thick curry, in despite slightly salty for me, but it might vary from person to person as I'm having a long term clean diet, my taste buds might be much more sensitive . Chilling with cocktails - Pina colada, but I guess chilling with ice cold beer will be another good choice. The seaview from the restaurant is excellent, recommended to visit during the evening. If sunlight not so strong, afternoon maybe a choice too. Great place!

We enjoyed so much during sunset, right at the beach of the cafe. The food was okay, especially sitting close to the seashore.

The food was Nice/ Ok but if you are looking for something In front of a beach with nice music layback kinda thing you should consider here top recommend with extremely friendly service,price is a bit expensive but it was ok

Beautiful mocktails and delicious fusion food. Loved the variety on the menu and service was friendly, a kind gesture was the placement of mosquito repellant at our table.

The food portion you can taste the freshness and quality of course.

We ate here for my husband’s birthday. Affordable price. Good portion of food. Ample of sitting area. Food taste good. My children loved their cheesecake. Exactly taste like my home baked cheesecake. Yummy! Since we arrived there around 6pm for dinner/on Friday. Less people. Food arrived fast. Overall okay.

Great atmosphere, our dinner was paired with a beautiful sunset and 2 hornbills resting on the branches. Grateful for Jaz’s service. He’s very friendly and lovely.

The best restaurant in Pangkor. We stayed there for 2 weeks and ate mostly at daddy's.
Their food is delicious, as are the desserts. And the service is really good.

If you're looking for a great view and delicious food, we'd definitely recommend this restaurant.
The best time to go is when the sun goes down, you'll have a unique landscape with the colors of the sun on the sea, the clouds on the mountains and the flight of hornbills while enjoying your meal.

The food is more expensive than local fare but well worth it, especially the rendang beef.

Had dinner here a few times. The food and service were good. Prices are high compared to the rest of the places around, otherwise 👍. The seafood curry came as a surprise as they put a whole crab and prawns aren't peeled in it, so be prepared to get your hands dirty. Would be nice for the restaurant to offer wet wipes or a finger bowl as it can be messy. Muthu and George were very professional, friendly, and welcoming. Thank you for all the good meals.

Lovely atmosphere sitting out in the open by the sea. They do special decorations for anniversaries and birthdays. Fridays and Saturdays are really busy. Book ahead if you want a table by the sea or have any specific requests. Food was excellent and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

It's very popular at Pulao Pangkor. The food is really tasty. If you want to have good food from a variety of options and eat beside the sea while listening to old pop songs, you can give it a try.

Dishes not to miss out are the Baracudda Curry (really fresh and delicious), Fish & Chips, the Satay and steak.
For the view, and the great service, the price certainly is worth it

Went for dinner twice and they did not disappoint! 10/10 for everything: food taste and presentation, cafe ambience, service speed and staff warmth. Highly recommended. Truly enjoyed our dinner especially when served by whom I assume would be the manager or head steward (malay guy with blonde hair, sorry did not get your name 😅) and Jasz. Would doubtlessly repeat when I visit Pangkor again 💯 Oh and yes, there is a parking on site with no charge.

P/S: Bear in mind you're on a holiday to rest, relax, and disconnect from modern life. Don't expect internet connection to be present - because it isn't, lol. Simply terrible reception there.

Cozy restaurant with perfect seaview, sea breeze & direct access to the beach. Offers a good range of western & local food. Would definitely recommend to someone looking to spend a relaxing afternoon enjoying good food & couple of beers.

Most wonderful restaurant we’ve been to in Southeast Asia. We had a lovely night at Daddy’s Cafe on Valentine’s Day! Our waiter Jass was really helpful and served us great! Their decoration for the night were so beautiful. The chef was super nice and had a menu just for the night with a three course dinner that was delightful! I can really recommend this place if you’re going here and especially if you’re celebrating something!

Very nice beach shack restaurant. Drinks were good, food was delicious and fresh. Service was very friendly and attentive. George was our waiter and he was very kind, friendly and made sure we always had what we needed and were comfortable.
There’s a very nice hornbill that visits the restaurant as well. Hangs around the trees nearby.
