Food is amazing!!! And cheap! Must try the laksa sarawak, mee kolok and lalapan. Have not tried other menus like mee jawa and nasi goreng but should be as good. The drinks here are also quite kaw and nice. Opens till late at night so its a great place for midnight hangouts.

An open air malay Muslim restaurant located strategically within Bintang Jaya Shopping mall about 5 minutes by walk. Very popular with their signature dish ' Beef Noodle ' (mee daging). Suitable for all kinds of meals ideally for family gathering with very reasonable prices.

1 of the few local Malay shop that is still affordable. I can eat with just RM6 here with drinks. Their "mee goreng", "mee kolok" and "mee sapi" are great!

To be fair, there are a lot of Awang Mahyans here in Miri but this one is the best at taste. My favorite is Mee Kolok or Mee Pok. Try them with fried chicken or egg. That is enough for me. RM6.50(~$1.80) for Mee Kolok or Mee Pok with fried chicken (say Mee Kolok/Pok Special when ordering).
