I recently tried a delicious fusion drink that combines coffee and cocoa. From the first sip, it had a strong and delightful flavor that I found quite enjoyable. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I decided to buy a whole box of packets to bring home. Horkasai means "Tiger bites Lion" in English.

Of course came for the 西亚煎 etc but this 鱼翅 shark fin has particularly impressed me, tasty and value for money for the ingredients given.

A rustic humble coffee shop that serves amazing drinks esp their hor gai sai. The shop right next to them serves delicious seafood among other local delicacies.

Get there early as they are known to run out of food. Extremely busy on the weekends.

Best place to stop over for lunch on a road trip. Try their fresh fried fish and prawn roll!

Come and have some "Tiger bites lion" (hor ka sai) drink. Kind of funny when you think of the name but it is what it is. Various local delicacies are also available within the immediate vicinity.

Nice food and scene. Love it!

I went on public holidays. The kopitiam is packed and hard to wait for table. So i just take away their famous Hor Ka Sai (kopi+milo) RM3 each. I bought two packs. But two packs are with different taste. One with stronger milo taste another one with stronger coffee taste. I guess that they didn’t mix well as in a hurry. However, the taste is still good and super thick with ingredient.

There's different choices of seafood that you can try. The famous 西亚煎 is so different from Penang's 虾煎 (fried prawn). The indo curry claypot taste nice with crab or prawn. Lastly, there is a must try drink which is 虎咬狮 ( people there usually call it in Hokkien, pronounce as ho ka sai ).

Price worthy yummy seafoods. Variety as clams , kerang , fish , crabs were available. Mantis prawns too. Except curry mee was utter LOUSY !

Great coffee shop - try the fruit juices and the local Horkasai drink (coffee+Milo). Lots of locals here eating fresh seafood too.

Great place with cheap seafood.

The seafood here is popular because of the taste and also the price is cheap. The prawn crackers is from few houses duration and not in the shop. It's in the back of the road. Highly recommended must try in Kuala Kurau.
