Yes. I agree to go for 5star. The asam pedas is marvelous. The gravy taste is superb, the fish, red snapper (ikan merah) I believe, it is so fresh, you can distinguish the sweetness of its flesh from rich gravy. Recommended here, put more gravy on your rice.

The price is cheap and very reasonable. Must eat and repeat if you come to Batu Pahat.

The best asam pedas ikan merah in Batu Pahat for my taste.. can try come,u will see not even malay got lunch here . Also uncle untie eat here.. taste it n i am very sure u will come again.. the kuah is so kick n u can drink it slowly to taste the asam pedas taste.. always come here since 2006..

Had assam pedas red snapper head and body, plus tempeh goreng, toufu bakar and stir fried brinjal with ikan bilis sambal. The fish was very fresh and complement well with the assam pedas curry to create an awesome dish especially the gravy mixed with rice. The tempeh was well fried and crispy. Had a beautiful distinct taste. The toufu bakar mixture provided a nice add-on. In addition to the fish, the brinjal fried with ikan bilis sambal was awesome. Service was excellent even when crowded. Wonderful breakfast experience.

The service is good and the employees are friendly .. the place is quite hidden but well known .. just speak volumes on how good this place is 😊 the asam pedas is quite pricey if you take the head part of the fish but it was so worth it ...this place might just be the best to have asam pedas in batu pahat... just make sure to come early as the asam pedas usually run out by 3 to 330 pm 😁

Famous asam pedas in town. It get crowded even it’s only 8am in weekend morning!

Lunch at this asam pedas recommended by my JB friend. 12PM only and the place already very crowded and their dishes only left fish head and omelette. Their red snapper served here really fresh, and the sour-spicy asam pedas really suit my taste. Definitely highly recommended but people who don’t like spicy food please do not simply try.

Asam pedas mak limah is a stall that is open as early as 6.30 am until evening. It is famous for its cuisine for lunch.This stall is located in Batu Pahat . This is the best ikan Asam pedas in batu Pahat. They also have ayam merah and sup ayam and fried eggs that are very delicious to eat with white rice! If you haven’t try this asam pedas, you definitely have to give it a try! But beware, is spicy hot!
