price appropriate hotel, easy parking. near main road. room is okay, room amenities is satisfying. no room service provided except housekeeping. shower is bad, they need to change their shower unit. the existing one spray water everywhere wetting the whole bathroom and not satisfying to douse yourself in water. lift is small, can't bring a lot of luggage at one time. enough room for 4 adults without accompanying item. there's new cafe that serve breakfast buffet, the buffet is decent, nothing too write about. the cafe food is okay and priced appropriately but the service is slow. overall the experience is satisfying.

The lobby is clean and has comfy sofas. There's a vending machine there too.

Room Aircon anemic and not cold. Room had musky smell. Light by window cannot be turned off from room, can only block it with curtain. WiFi very slow. Towels stained. Best to avoid if possible

Pelican Hotel is by the Batu Pahat River Bridge. It is 35 years old. Very modern hotel. Nearby is a Shell Petrol station. In front is Traffic light food court. Further up is a housing area. Car park is very big and free. They have a cafe inside. It is the first hotel in Batu Pahat for its building heights. The tallest Hotel at that time. Stay here for a night. Decent hotel and clean. Check out early morning.

A good hotel located in the middle of Batu Pahat. Parking was located next to the hotel building in an open space. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast provided was good and nice.

It's recommended to stay, I'm not too sure about environment but when I came around 8pm, was check-in there. Staff are friendly to guidance me dinner place.

Parking lot very limited more too 1st come 1st serve.

Hotel is old to become classic. But everything is fine. Did not expect much, at least breakfast fulfill my tummy is important. Simple breakfast choice but well worth it.

Overall recommended to stay and breakfast was good. Opposite hotel have 1 small foodcourt Chinese food can eat and one roti canai Malay stall as well.

We walked in without prior booking on 28/7/2018 and the receptionist was calm attending to our request coz earlier few other hotels which we called were fully booked. The location of the hotel is a bit outskirt and there are not much outeries nearby to choose from (a chinese foodcourt is just opposite the hotel so if you like hawker-style food this maybe a good place for you). What i liked most about the hotel is their room cleanliness. The smell was good and the bathroom was new and nice - seems like they just had their hotel renovation/ upgrading done. The carpet looked a bit ruined with iron marks which is fine to me. The breakfast spread was just nice and decent. Service at the counter was good. Overall - recommended.

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. It is located at a strategic place at the centre of the town. The reception is friendly and the house keeping is fantastic. They are very dedicated and extremely helpful. Value of money
