Y Lake Recreation Park

I love this place where I used to brisk walk with friends after work many years ago. This place is still the same. It is called "Tasik Y" but don't ask me why.😂 Perhaps the name is easier to remember. Tasik Y is a man-made lake. There are jogging path, dinosaur sculptures, huts to rest and rejuvenate as well as fountains on the lakes. This is a picturesque landscape .The public amenities like wash room and food stalls are within the vicinity. Highly recommended to all to chill out and exercise. Stay safe with strict adherence to SOP.

I can't say exactly how many times I have been here,there's many memories created here and the dinosaurs still standing even after 10+ years!.It was such a trademark for this recreational park.Before pandemic,this place have many attractions as well. Kids can play giant bubbles,toys,rent toy cars and hoover board.But now there's only one stall selling food and toys .It was quite pricey actually to be honest.Many plants have been planted since last I have been here and it was impressive. I would love this place to improve more and more.The playground remains the same but there's a few broken one which is fine because some toddler is wild 🤣.

Good place for exercise or leisure activities for families and also individually. Have nice playgrounds for children.

It is a nice place to have daily walking target even for a jogging. One complete round you will get estimated 10000 steps. Cool right?

Very much nice and relaxing place for family

Ideal place for morning and evening exercise. Bring along your kids and they can enjoy the playground facilities. Also available are 2 huge dinosaurs for photography purposes.

It is located between the junction of Jalan Kolam Air and Jalan Sulit. Actually this area has many lakes in the 1950 's years. As time goes by many lakes are turned to be government office. Jalan Pejabat is an example. And into government living quarters. This Tasik Y lake has its water down from the stream along Hospital Sultanah Nora Ismail. That is the reservoir and swimming pool of the year 1950. And also a water falls. The Kolam Air reservoirs is a Hutan Lipur now and is government's property. Taman Rekreasi Tasik Y now has 3 man made pool and lakes. We are not allowed swimming and fishing. But toilet is available and clean. There is a children's playground. A few dinosaurs can be found. But it is stone made. All cars and vehicles are to be parked away from the lakes parking space. It is a big car park and parking space is free. A lot of sheltering tree and a beautiful flowers garden. Shelters are there for you to rest. The lakes are clear and full of prawns. You can see big fish and smaller fish swimming. There are many eating stalls here. Selling all kinds of foods from the morning to evening. The mee bandung and the mee rebus are a try. Fried rice, fried noodle and nasi Lemak is a try. I always come here for a jogging. Sunday and public holiday will be crowded. Some parts are made for you to snap photos. Litter rubbish is forbidden. But a lot of dust bin can be found here. These lakes garden park is a must try. Please support mother nature. Thank you! 🦜📸 If you are a bird lover this is the right place. A lot of people come here to look at the birds. Some of the birds lovers are professional photographers. They took photographs of the birds. And also took photographs of the insects. This place is a worthy of visitation. 🦋💚
