Hot Pot Time Restaurant

Honestly the food price is considered high but the quality is higher as well. I went to this hot pot restaurant 2 times and it never disappointed me, especially their signature pork bone soup base. I won't feel thirsty after drinking the soup and it is decent. The steamboat ingredients are considered fresh and good quality. The staff and the boss lady are friendly and sometimes they will give a free fruit plate for free.

I really love how fresh their steamboat ingredients are and the broth are so great and delicious! I only visit this steamboat shop when I’m in Cameron! We tried pork bone broth and tomyam and must must order pork bone broth!!
The handmade meatball and dumplings are my favourite. Also must order the organic mushroom from Cameron and white corn. They goes so well with the soup!!

The boss are expanding the shop so there will be more seats and spacious place. The boss and servers are very friendly and attentive. Generous will refilling soups!

Family of 10 from Singapore. Wonderful experience. Food was generally good and fresh. Service was excellent and the lady boss even treated us a plate of pork belly slices and fruits. It will be even better if they can offer local complimentary desserts after the main meal. Thumbs up 👍👍👍

Who said price is expensive?
This place served very good steamboat with great selection of dishes from menu with reasonable price. Tasty, good portion and great customer service. Owner personally asked for comment and we thanked her for complimentary house made dumpling. Full house even on Thursday and we would come again! Japanese style pork bone soup & OZ beef are strongly recommended!

An excellent place to take the family for steam boat. They have multiple broth selections to choose food and a variety of dishes to pick. We over stuffed ourselves 😃.

One of the must do activities at Cameron Highlands is to have steamboat (hot pot) dinner. Actually it makes sense to have some hot soup based meal when the temperature in the evening plummets to mid teens.

Hot Pot Times gives you young vibes. The tongue in cheek quotes on the walls make interesting reading while you wait for your food order to be served.

While it is not the cheapest hot pot in town, certainly it is one of the best flavour wise. We ordered tomato soup base and herbal chicken soup base (twin pot) and found real tomatoes in one and cordyceps in the other. Wow!

Strongly recommend to come early or you’ll have to wait in the queue as the place has only 10 tables accommodating various group sizes.

We had the combo for two with some extra ingredients and the chicken soup. It was so much good and all delicious. We love the Idea of self cooking and it was a really enjoyable experience. The place was very busy, we were lucky to get a table quickly. The ice tea was good and the staff very friendly. The restaurant is always busy and has a welcoming atmosphere. Good value for money due to the amount of food for the price.

Went here two nights straight! Cameron highlands is famous for fresh veg, and you can surely get the fresh vegs in this restaurant. Highly recommend their radish, sweet corn, Chinese cabbage and watercress!
They also get great meat. We didn’t try a lot meat but the pork was definitely one of the best we had.
Their soup bases are really tasty. We tried the veg base and the pork bone broth. Both are great, but can be a little salty for those don’t fancy salty taste. And you don’t need a lot of dipping sauce with these soups.

The soup base we choose is Japan pork bone soup. It is has nice flavour and well balance in taste. It is not overly salty. The food served are fresh and the lady boss is really helpful and nice. Love the wordings they put on the wall. It is funny and cute. Highly recommend to have this in Cameron Highland.

Had a great experience here. We were surprised by the boss taking the extra mile to sanitize the baby chair after bringing it out. The 2pax deal was more than ample for a group of 2. Would recommend ordering extra corn, they are really one of the best I have tasted. The pork soup was extra special, it wasn’t too salty and it was certainly tasty and unique. The brown chili sauce was refreshing. Overall one of the best hotpot experience I had in Cameron highlands and the price I find is certainly reasonable. I concur with the rest of the reviewers who has posted here.

Location : The restaurant located inside an apartment (HBD) area. Very easy to find, you just need to go straight from the main gate. It has a very simple decoration and give the family type vibes.

Food : I believe this is the best steambot in town. Their veggie, pork, and beef are all fresh. The soup is very tasty. I ordered mala soup and pork bone soup in one pot. You can choose between less spicy, medium spicy, and very spicy for mala soup. The portion is VERY big too, I didn't manage to finish all of my food, I am a big eater and I have never been over order food.

Services : The owner is very friendly, keep asking about how does the food taste and if there is anything wrong with it. Very fast response.

Parking : Since it is inside HBD area, then there are plenty of parking space near by.

Appointment : you better make an appoinment beforehand, since it is usually very crowded after 7 p.m.

Price : durable becauss they have very good service and excellent food

Overall, i think it is actually comparable to those steamboat in a big city and eating steamboat during cold weather in Tanah Rata (Cameron Highland) is something you might want to do to warm up your body.

A must every time we're in Camerons. This is truly the best hotpot we've had ever! The pork bone broth is delicious and the vegetables are so fresh! Service was great and price very reasonable. Recommend going slightly earlier as it gets quite busy during dinnertime.

It is also pet friendly if you sit outside!

Price for 4 people is about RM150, but we ordered quite a lot of additional ingredients, so I think the price is fair.

Owner was very hospitable and genuine! It's a little homey place with limited seats. No reservations will be taken so please expect to wait if you arrive during peak hours.

Food wise, everything was fresh and quality was not compromised. We came back two days in a row and tried the pork bone soup, tomato soup, chicken herbal soup, Tom yum soup and Ma La soup. Honestly, they were all so good that we had difficulty ranking them.

Best of all, you don't feel thirsty at all even after gulping all the soup!

Definitely my go to place if I ever return to Cameron.

Very nice hot pot. Their ma la pot is delicious and very special cos u can actually drink the soup! The normal soup also taste very nice, also recommended their fried chicken.... Overall place is clean, food is nice, 2nd visit and will definitely come back again. But one thing though, this shop quite busy, if want eat must come early cos they don't give reservation by phone call.

It shall be my go to destinations for dinner when it comes to hotpot + Cameron Highlands. A must go place for hotpot/steamboat!

Price for me is reasonable as compared to the ones in Klg Valley.

Decided on steamboat on the night we arrived as it had been raining the whole way up from Seremban. Had the 2 pax combo with 2 soup, spicy and herbal. Their herbal soup was awesome. Their combo is more like a starter kit 😂. Ordered extra pork dish. Portion was good, serving plate was huge. Wanted to go back again before heading downhill but what-to-do. When on vacation must try as many varieties as possible.

We did had steamboat in town on other nights, this is still much better in quality and price in comparison.
