This 24 hour convenience store is favoured by many foreign tourists. Almost everyone knows the prices of goods are higher than elsewhere. Nearby shops also ride on the high prices with 7-Eleven. My favorite Walls lime lollipop ice cream is priced exceedingly high. Walls recommended price is RM 1.10 but sold at RM 1.60 here or 50% more than the recommended price. Why? Usually low price items can be priced much higher as tourists and travellers don't notice or don't mind the extra 50 %. Here's my advice:
To get the best prices for the goods you need, try not to buy from the nearby shops or 24-hour shops. Walk a short distance away from your hotel and very likely you can get a price reduction of 5-10 % offered by nearby shops to tourists like me.
Reviews and Ratings on Google can be a nightmare as bogus reviews from competitors can deceive you. Your eyes are the best guide.
Check prices from a few shops as part of your morning walk or free time routine.
Budget is usually a top priority for a traveller. Your savings can buy you your next beautiful destination or save for a rainy day.
Travel smart and wise. Guard your belongings and be on the lookout for suspicious characters. Never believe all you hear. Your gut feeling is your most precious safe guard.
Watch the body language of the people you meet. An uneasy or creepy feeling means being on your guard.
A peaceful mind without mishaps or unfortunate incidents equates to a great holiday experience. Do let your hair down but tie it up when necessary.
Exercise caution especially with your cash. Friendly faces can turn ugly in an instant. Lastly, enjoy your holidays while it lasts and don't lose your phone and personal identifications.

Did not accept credit cards in spite of having a machine, accepted cash only. It is located on a narrow one-way street so you may have to park your car on an adjacent street and walk to it.

Like the other 7 Eleven I've ever visited. New experience has been found here. First time try to make the payment with visa card. Just to know that 7 Eleven only accepts cash payments.
