The Mossy Forest Cafe

We walked past this restaurant and instantly liked the atmosphere of the place. We stayed for dinner and the food did not disappoint. The burgers were delicious and a really good portion size. The staff were really friendly and attentive. There is also a stunning mural on the back wall of the restaurant that really gives the place character. If we were not so full from the food, we would have ordered dessert because they looked incredible too!

Served one of the best burgers I have eaten.
Got into a complete mess eating it but definitely worth the effort.
Reasonably priced and timely served.
Plenty of choice on the menu
Staff are friendly and helpful.
May go back for a second visit on my last night in the Highlands.

An amazing experience, unfortunately google maps doesn’t allow me to give more than 5 stars because they deserve it.
The service was great. And the coffee was the first cup of decent, barista quality latte I had since I arrived at Cameron Highlands. They use Rancilio grinder and espresso machine, can’t really go wrong with that. The scones, well, it has everything you’d want in a scone, except perhaps it’s served with whipped cream instead of clotted cream; but that’s easily overlooked.

We loved it! It is a nice restaurant/Cafe with loads of options available, including vegetarian burguers and soy milk. The service was good and fast and wifi is also available

Lovely, appealing setup and atmosphere. Love the cappuccino. The calamari and sweet potato fries are good, too. I would sit here all day sipping coffee and reading a good book if I lived here.

Nice place to stay in Tanah Rata, tasty food (try one of their burgers) and friendly staff. You can get breakfast there as well. Worth the money.

This place has a great ambient, and the service was fantastic. Everything is made in house, and while I can’t speak to their meals, their desserts were amazing. I’d recommend to anyone in the area.

The Scones in KL like biting shoe... Scones at Mossy is fresh, warm... The strawberry jam taste good... Not the cheapskate ones u get in Kl...

Coffee Cappuccino without Sugar taste like drain water... In Mossy you actually taste the cofeen milk... So nicec

Sweet potato no need sauce... Just can ear like that... So soft so sweet... Not like biting wooden Twigs

The burger was great! Really delicious and absolutely fresh. We also enjoyed the fresh tea and the service. By the way I liked the Design of the restaurant a lot, especially the painted wall.
In sum, it was a very good alternative to the local food and worth a visit!

Lovely cafe, the food is excellent - the Nasi Lemak burger was particularly good, with spicy sambal and a generous portion of chicken; and the chocolate cake was deliciously rich. Staff are very friendly and good-humoured. Would highly recommend a visit!

Probably the best chicken burger I've ever had - perfect. Served with thin fries and coleslaw for a reasonable price. Also a nice cappuccino, which was on 2-for-1 (I declined the second however, as I wanted to sleep that night!). Definitely pay this place a visit if you're in Tanah Rata and need a burger fix.

Came into this cafe every day while I was in cameron highlands. The customer service was great. The burgers look delecious. If you're looking to try something unique I'd recommend the salty egg yolk croissant which were sweet but not overwhelmingly so.

This s the most amazing place to have have a rest in Cameron highland. Was a pity for me to have enjoyed it only twice. The staff is adorable, the food is amazing and the environment modern and chilly. I wish all the best to these amazing girls!thanks for everything!hope to come back there one day <3

We tried all cafes we could find in Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands and didn’t find one place serving a decent espresso! Until we got here!
Nice espresso and nice latte, and the staff is friendly and smiling!
We didn’t try the food but as far as our experience goes it’s a 5 stars and a thumbs up

The best beef burger I ever had in my life. Super delicious food, awesome environment, friendly staff and great service. I recommend this cafe to all those who want a super delicious meal. Life changing experience!

We had a blast with their Burgers. Kilat, Irau were crazy good.
Same for Spaghetti’s which were surprisingly Al Dente. Delicious! 😊
