Pusat Makanan Istemewa or The excellent food centre

For past 30 years, We have been visiting them since they were a small hawker Centre until they moved to the current location. They have not changed the menu (except bring back the pancakes!) ever since. Our favourites are chicken chop (very authentic and increasingly difficult to find in KL), chicken curry and chicken feet noodle. Price next to nothing and plenty of parking at the rear of the building. Not so easy to find if you are only walking along the Main Street. You need to enter the building and walk towards the back. Be quick, by 1.30pm, they already start to close. Highly recommended!

Amazing delicious local food. Super tasty laksa soup, kaya - coconut jam - toats and fresh soup. And the staff is wholehearted and super nice! Must go to place!

Forget about the western style restaurants or the Main Street tourist shop. This is an authentic Chinese restaurant that provide great food at local prices . Try it and you will come back for more . It has a terras overlooking the parking lot and market . Enjoy

Certainly a great place to try out various selections of local food, with reasonable prices, with good and friendly service! Menu is hand written on white board with prices shown clearly. The eating utensils like chopsticks and table spoons are provided in covered boxes, well washed and cleaned. The rice dishes are served with cabbage and pickled cucumbers. Well balanced meals, sedap!

A place frequented by the local. Serving simple local Chinese food. The curry lamb, curry beef are my favorite. Recommended.
