The Lord's Cafe

A charming place with very good pastry. Located directly across the road from the bus terminal. We had the scone and lemon cheesecake. Both are delightful to look at and to eat. I understand that they are homemade. Very beautiful and rustic interior to rest and refresh. Really low price too. This should be an essential stop at Tanah Rata. An ideal waiting point before your departing bus arrives.

A small Cafe at the second floor almost missed it.

If you want to try the cakes, order by lunch time. Perhaps it was just because of Malaysia + Singapore school holidays.

We ordered apple cake, normal scone, fruity scone, lemon cake.

The best dishes were, normal scone, and lemon cake. The scone is kind of similar to Popeyes chicken biscuit, but smaller. Consider to order maybe one scone each.

This is one of the few places on the mountain that is not really mountain price. And they do not offer much in terms of service, plus they do not charge service charge so, fair enough, do not expect to be pampered. I guess they are just doing the Lord's work at the Lord's Cafe.

Felt right at home here. One of the best places to visit in Camron Highlands. This cafe and its staff have lovely souls. I had a dozen strawberry milkshakes but still wanted more.

Overall satisfactory place to have a your breakfast or teatime.

The ambience of the place is decent, feels like your traditional rustic western home feel.

The scones are delicious, we ordered both the original and strawberry, but I preferred the original one better.

Banana chocolate cake is delicious and their hash brown is yum.

Price wise is super affordable, and I highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to come to Cameron Highland.

Do note that you might need to make a reservation first, as I was told by the lady working in the area that she do not like to have everyone lining up outside of her restaurant.

Delightful place to start your day or as a snack. Friendly and hardworking staff. Efficient concept: writing down your order and presenting it at the bar, allowing them to prepare your order with focus. Cozy atmosphere and delicious scones and apple pie!

A smallish quaint place for reasonably priced snacks and drinks.
Food is homemade.
Didn’t expect the hash brown also to be home made. A delightful surprise. But maybe not to the kiddos expectations

Milk shake is always nice. Didn’t get to try the lassi this time around but comes recommended.

Place is generally clean. Washrooms were ok too.

Love this tiny little cafe. Foods and drinks are all good, strawberry and lemon cheese cakes were really good, not to forget their scone with their homemade strawberry jam, yummy.

Mango lassie was very good too!

Desserts here are amazing. Atmosphere is 10/10, feeling serene and peaceful. Will come again.

Probably the best and cheapest breakfast you can get in Tanah Rata. The food was not unforgettable either but for the price it’s pretty amazing. I didn’t see any scone that was cheaper (3.2 myr) and they were really good. Even though the apple pie was not the best I liked it a lot and it was less than 1 €. They served tea from the BOH tea plantation for a better price than in the plantation itself. The service is very fast too and the place is quite cute. You should definitely check this place if you’re in Cameron highlands.

All the dishes look so good over here, prices are okay and service is quick, Our all time favourite place, we loved our experience at The Lord Cafe and will definitely be returning on our next trip to Cameron Highlands. Highly recommended for anyone looking for homemade, delicious food with great service

Quaint & Relaxing Cafe. Great place to settle down for a good book if it’s not too crowded. Food was affordable and decent (only tried scone & coffee, keep things simple in life).

A lovely little cafe I would certainly recommend. You write what you want on a slip and hand it to a staff member, and then collect your food/drink when ready.
The scone was delicious, but a bit more jam and cream would have been better. The earl grey tea was lovely.

The perfect place to relax and have a great cup of tea ( lots of varieties) and scones with jam and cream. Such a nice environment, really nicely decorated to feel 'homely'. Lots of other drinks to choose from the menu as well as other delicious cakes and savoury snacks. Prices are so good too, compared to other cafes in the area. Highly recommend!

Mango + banana lassi was amazing. It's pure fresh fruits. The cafe is very cozy and comfortable to chill in.
