A monument of British history in Malaya during colonial years. Very beautiful place extending over to the other side of the river and the railway track that hangs over 40 feet in the air from the river. Other than walking on the bridge and take photos, not much else to do. To me I really like the surrounding areas and scenery.

It's definitely another historical landmark that you must visit if you are in Kuala Kangsar.

Worth the trip beyond the town area, through a small town called Karai.

Got a nice resort next to the bridge.

Parking was easy.

A 100+ year old railway bridge landmark. It was built in 1897 & finished in 1900. I’m impressed that the local council has maintained & preserved this place beautifully. No trains cross it now but there’s a small side lane where motorcyclist used it to get to the other side.

Last time i came on 2017.
Compared to now, so much transformation has been happening. Before this looks like not taking care, thumbs up to majlis bandaraya or who ever in-charge , now many attractions surrounding bridge. Please preserve this kind of monuments so that future generations can enjoy and appreciate it

We came here on Monday, all shops & restaurants nearby are closed. But we managed to take a photo without a crowded visitor. It's a beautiful & historical landmark of Kuala Kangsar. Great place for a photoshoot.

A great visit for a short historical sighting. It is one of the earliest railway bridges in Malaysia, built across Sungai Perak. While the structure seems strong & well maintained, do be careful of the uneven surface and structure itself, especially if you are with kids. On one side of the railway bridge, there is a pathway for motorcyclists, so again, be careful. Just a short walk under the bridge itself, a small 'kedai makan' within D Villa Resort is located, where they serve deliciously fresh cooked food. Overall, the bridge is worth a visit if you are in Kuala Kangsar.

A historical place that must go for a visit. You may take the side pathway (along the bridge) to the opposite.
Beware of footsteps.

There is a public toilet just opposite which is clean, a western cafe too.

You may proceed to Kuala Kangsar from here which only takes 20 mins to drive.

Not much parking space but really a must visit for historical nerds. Love that they still preserve the old architecture.
Just be careful and not be too joyful on the old railway track as it might pose some danger especially to small children.

A historical place of old railway bridge. Visit here with family. You can have a look of Sungai Perak apart from the bridge.

We stayed at The Karai Village chalet, which is a walking 🚶‍♀ distance to Victoria Bridge. The bridge itself is a very unique momento of the bygones era. Walk a cross the bridge, and there is a village known as Kampung Seberang Karai.

Nice historical scenic site to visit. Amazed with how the local motorbike riders still utilising it to cross the Sungai Perak.

The Victoria Bridge a.k.a Enggor Bridge was constructed from 1897 to 1900 during colonial times, and named after Queen Victoria of England. It's so cool to be able to see and walk on such an old historical bridge! It's still used for pedestrians and motorcyclists. Do be careful when walking on the bridge as there are gaps between the wooden planks (careful not to drop your phone too). We decided to take the longer route when driving from Taiping to Ipoh which was an hour longer, but it took us to places off the beaten track including this Victoria Bridge which was totally worth it! There are toilets at the eating area opposite.

Like the rustic look. It's a great place to get some pic. Came there on Saturday and it is not super crowded. There's also parking space designated for it. The only thing that is worrying me is that place is not suitable for little kids or old people or need supervision by adults at all time. But overall, if u don't mess around much, care about safety and want to get a good shot, it is is a good place to stop by.

Visited during Raining day but still manage to capture some nice photos without tourists as background 😆.
Great experience to enjoy the beauty of victoria bridge.

Advice: please be extra careful while walking on the railway because of the hollow gaps . Visitors with kids must be alert and hold the kids all the time.

Oh how I so love this place. Really mesmerising and breathtaking. There's really quite a few bridges like this scattered around Malaysia but this one is really pretty... With the brick stairway leading up to the bridge. It's rather long too. If you can brave to walk all the way across the. I suppose you can. You won't mind getting a few pretty pictures here. So beautiful. There's a few shops selling drinks and snacks and great to cool and relax before going off to your next destination.
