Ask for laksa pulas if you want to try the famous laksa kayu api.

The laksa was very tasty.

The nasi goreng udang was marvellous. You can taste the kayu api fried style. Plus tak kedekut udang langsung.

Friendly staff and very helpful in providing tips and information on their menus.

Laksa and cendol recommended. The original taste of mee. Not to forget about ABC (ais batu campur). The stall quite far in area of village. Just follow the signboard.

One of the best laksa kuala. Can be crowded during weekends. Its location is quite secluded deep inside a kampung. Service was ok and price is considered cheap.

A must visit Laksa place in Padang Rengas. The laksa kuah atas and otak udang. Photo taken after my visit to the late Quartermaster funeral. People in the photos are the local boys and my strong supporters.

This was our first visit to this outlet specialising in "Laksa" Perak style. We've been patronising Laksa "Sarang" Pokok Limau, Laksa Lempor, Laksa Lembah (famous 'Food Joint' for Cendol/ABC/Laksa... etc.. by the Perak River waterfront in Kuala Kangsar) but never tried this joint which serves "Laksa Tepung/Beras". On this occasion we came to KKangsar to visit our sisters'-in-law; one in Tmn Kenari n the other in Beluru. It was while in Beluru that Google Map located for us 'Laksa Lubuh' being much nearer than if we try the route thru the H'way from
KKangsar town to Grik. However, upon almost reaching the place... due "Internet signal lost" we relied on the locals to guide us. For ardent lovers of Laksa there's a difference between Laksa Tepung n Laksa Beras. We all ordered the former though as expected the "gravy (kuah)" in Perak is more watery (chayo) than those in town or in Klang Valley. They use less "fish meat" in their 'gravy'. Before leaving we ordered 1kg of Laksa to take home. This time with Google Maps assistace we tried the alternate exit route which shorten the journey back towards Town by entering the KKangsar-Grik H'way. Our 3d2N stay in KK also allowed us to visit our bedridden bro-in-law who not long after our arrival he was ferried by Ambulance to the KK Hospital and later was transferred to Taiping Hosp

Hidden gems of Kuala Kangsar. Their laksa kebak (wheat laksa) is superb. The aroma of fire wood in their gravy enhanced the taste and mood.

Nice Laksa😋. The laksa soup is totally different from the Asam Laksa in Penang. I felt like coming back home to kampung. On 25/12/2019, a bowl of Laksa Lubuk cost me RM3.50 ONLY. Car park is FREE as the location is quite outskirt from town.

Handmade laksa gravy. Not too spicy. Beside laksa, other delicacies served as well

Out of the way but worthed the adventure. True taste of laksa Kuala Kangsar, you'll come back again for. The price will blow your mind, not your purse.

A must to eat when you go to kuala kangsar. You have to go through a village road. Actually, there is 2 laksa place in this Lubuk Merbau Laksa. Either one is good.
