Breakfast By The River (BBTR)

Food was good, decent price. Service quite fast and the place is clean. The view was outstanding. They could improve by installing outdoor fan as it’s getting warmer going to the noon time.

As a traveller not from Kuala Kangsar, the 5-star review is for the serenity of the river rushing alongside this breakfast nook and the calmness of the kampung surroundings. A nice place to lull away the morning air over simple breakfast.

We came here is for the place that by the river. Location is look like old style and unique. Mostly customer come from "org luar" Kuala Kangsar. Food is good good dan yummy yummy..

Music just good, view was beautiful by the river. Food to me is delicious. Nasi lemak with daging bakar was superb. Worth the money, thumb up for the sambal owner & the owner of this place. Keep this up.

Relatively new breakfast stall in Kuala kangsar. Located in Kota Lama Kiri. Note that the entry is kind of hard to spot at the first place, may easily overshoot. Turn right at Badan Khidmat Masyarakat AT Taif (Green-Yellow sign board). Then follow the sign 'Breakfast By The River' until you see the river bank

Inside there, parking is ample. Place was clean. The owner and the waiters are friendly and service was quick.

Ordered Nasi Kerabu with additional fried egg for Rm6.5, Mushroom soup with garlic bread RM5, and Roti Bakar Telur Goyang Rm3.5.

Portion was good and reasonable price. High recommended the food item above.

Do come early as it tend to get crowded by 9.30am.

Tasty food and gracious host. We had nasi kerabu and nasi dagang, green tea and teh o ais for rm18. Money very well spent. I wish they could clear up the wild grass along the river bank to improve the view.highly recommended

By the way, tempat ni mmg best, cantik and literally mmg betul2 by the river..the majestic Perak river..mmg nk kena repeat p balik sbb ritu tutup..adehhh...amik no fon kedai siap2..hehe

Situated on the bank of Perak River in Kuala Kangsar, makes this joint really a cool place to enjoy your breakfast. The Nasi Dagang Ikan Tongkol is a must try. The owner and the waiters are also very friendly. Open daily except on Thursday and Friday. Free and ample parking.
