Masjid Lama Ladang Tea Nalapak

Visited in November 2019. The Old Mosque of Sabah Tea Plantation Estate in Nalapak Village. About 3 km on off-road from the entrance of the main road – Jalan Ranau / Sandakan. Built in 1983 out of concrete stones, for the Muslim plantation workers to pray, designed by an Australian. Unique, beautiful within natures.

Once was abandoned and forgotten. But efforts to restore was taken and now it is beautiful and majestic. But road access to the area is a a little off road and bumpy.

Once an abandoned mosque, now refurbished and used by the locals again. A very old mosque. Just few years ago repaired. Beware, getting there can be quite challenging. Better use a 4wd.

Masjid yg unik kelihatan dari ladang teh. Laluan ke masjid masih bertanah merah dan kena melintas sungai kecil. Jika di cat semula dan dibaik pulih, pasti menjadi perhatian para pelancong untuk datang ziarah serta berhenti untuk menunaikan solat sunat atau solat fardhu.

Do not go during rainy weather as the road leading towards the Mosque is paved but not tarred.

To reach this place you need to use 4x4 vehicle... One of the oldest mosque in Ranau, but unfortunately it looks like abandoned. Thanks to the plantation company still let the mosque stand firmly at that place...at the same time can be a historical building to be remembered in the future.

A very old, abandoned mosque of Sabah Tea. Locals there have a lot of ghost stories about that place. We went to the place once and play around it. Stung by some bees at the end of our play. Hahaha.... It's was almost 20 years ago stories.
