Excellent comfortable cottage set in a tea plantation. Good views of the mountain and thunderstorms. Staff are ready helpful.
Excellent restaurant about 500m away on a steep road. We’ve had some of the best meals in Sabah here. There’s a bar nearby that only sells beer but at a very reasonable price.
Road continues up to a beautiful view of M. Kinabalu.
Exceptionally nice friendly staff.
Connected to the main road by a good concrete road. Parking available by the cottage.

We just went there for lunch. Food was excellent in this restaurant with a wonderful tea plantation view. Can’t tell about the hotel as we did not stay there. We stopped over for lunch.

Beautiful location. Lovely cottage set in white picket fenced garden, with open plan lounge and bedroom, with satellite TV, kettle, sabah tea(of course), air con & fans in both rooms, shower. No WiFi in rooms it's only available in public area, the only nearby restaurant is the hotel owned one, located at the bottom of the hill from the cottage location which served lovely food with the option for some international dishes, there is also a small gift shop attached. The hotel & its surroundings is stunning, but it is quite isolated. Lovely staff & clean rooms.

What a place, high in the hills. Amazing views. Wi fi only in the main area but loved it here. Rooms clean.

I spent one night here in September 2018. We arrived in the evening so didn't have the view but we checked in to the very comfortable rooms and had a beautiful dinner.
The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds and cool yet quiet air con. The showers didn't have great pressure but did the job and they supplied shampoo/shower gel.
We had a mini banquet that evening with some of the nicest food I had over the whole trip. We had soup to start with which was really delicious and my favourite main was the chicken and cashew nuts. We got to do a taste test of some of the tea the plantation produced and even though I don't drink tea at all at home I really enjoyed the drinks.
The group I was with decided to wake up early the following morning to catch the sunrise and we were all delighted that we did. The scenery was absolutely stunning and the quiet at that time of the day lent a really peaceful magical quality to the site. When we arrived at the restaurant for breakfast we had a stunning view of Mount Kinabalu and again the food was delicious.
I wish we could have spent more time here to enjoy the view and the hospitality of the staff but even a short time was very memorable.

Great stay in a traditional longhouse. I had a fantastic experience in the Sabah tea complex. It is far from the main road so it is a peaceful place. It is great to relax, take early morning walks around the tea plantation and disconnect. The stay in the longhouse is nice. Don’t expect luxuries but rather getting immersed in the traditional way of living of local tribes. I tried the different types of Sabah tea and they were delicious. I also did a painting class and it was pretty relaxing. Being in the middle of nature in Sabah tea has been a great experience and I would like to thank the staff for being kind and helpful at all times! Thank you very much!

Joyful stay at this beautiful part of Sabah. A small resort set on top of a hill in a tea garden, this is very much a working plantation. The staff are super friendly, the area is stunning and the cottages are basic, clean and comfortable. Plenty of walking and nature-watching to be done here as well as seeing a successful working tea plantation. The restaurant's did was excellent.

A stunning location to get away from it all. The accommodation is basic, rustic even, but the beds are comfortable, sheets are clean and the views impressive. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and there's a veranda to sit and watch the sun set. Surprisingly the cottages do not have tea-pots supplied, which is odd considering this is a tea plantation. It might encourage more people to buy tea from the shop, which also doesn't sell tea pots! The one thing that lets it down is the included breakfast. We were presented with a menu that included American breakfast, omlettes, toast, pancakes, fruit, cereal... and were told we were only allowed a bowl of noodles and no choice in the tea, despite the 100 or so on the menu. I went for the Sabah Tea pancakes instead. They were inedible, but the restaurant very kindly only charged us half price for the replacement breakfast we ended up eating. Thank you 🙏 Aside from that I'd happily return here as it's the perfect retreat. Peaceful and picturesque, it's been a highlight of our little roadtrip and we regret only booking one night. We'll definitely be back and will stay for longer.

Beautiful longhouse with views towards the tea plantation. My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay. We stayed in a traditional longhouse and loved the experience. The longhouse is made out of bamboo sticks and looks very authentic. The beds are very comfortable and have a mosquito net. It is an ideal place to experience something close to how the local tribes live. It is surrounded by the tea plantation and Mount Kinabalu in the distance. The landscape is really beautiful!

What a beautiful spot! Me and my husband stayed in the cottage for one night as part of our honeymoon. The overall experience of visiting the tea plantation is very very pleasant. The view is unreal as you step out from the cottage. Although the rooms are basic the view and tranquility makes up for it.

It's like a mini house, there's a TV and a couch but TV channels are limited. Rooms are clean but I don't know how red ants can enter the bathroom. There's not much to do around.

We stayed her while traveling Borneo and it was lovely the cottages are clean and air-conditioned which is all you need. The views are spectacular early morning . The breakfast and dinner was good but the portion size is way to big . A tour of the factory was interesting A++++++

For a visit, I think it's okay. You can see the uniqueness of a longhouse. But for a stay overnight at this longhouse, the mosquito will be the main problem. But worry not, they have a mosquito net on every room. Go to this place, it's cool!

Last time I visited this place was in 2015 and there were not much place to go except the rumah panjang but now there are a lot of development and might be one of a worth place to visit with your family. Make sure to bring umbrella if you go here cuz it's kind of hot 👍🏻

Very quaint but busy tea plantation. Spectacular views of Mount Kinabalu whilst having breakfast. Tea is served Hot, Cold and iced - but no coffee!!
A few bugs here and there, and the monument to the 'Death March' soldiers is a must see. A very sad story of wartime P.O.W's. Meliden, the Tour guide, is MORE than happy to help with any issue's you have. Overall, a thoroughly good trip!!!
