Clearwater Sanctuary Golf Resort

PLEASE REVIVE AND RESTORE this beautiful scenic golf course and resort to its former glory years! It has tremendous potential and its truly one of a kind golf course not only in Ipoh but in SOUTH EAST ASIA. What a shame that this course has been overlooked and became so rundown.

Wonderful place. The course has been revived and hopefully this will lead to something bigger and better. A picture speaks a thousand words, pls enjoy the many thousands of words.

This is good place i ever seen. Its very experience.

Excellent and scenic golf course south of Ipoh. To our surprise the course was maintained very good also. Fairways are big and friendly but you better hit them, at some parts there is thick rough awaiting. Even beginners can enjoy this place by using the red tees. Don´t get too excited if you played well for 17 holes, the final one is a killer!

The main restaurant was not open during the week, but there is a canteen serving the usual Malaysian rice with chicken/fish/veggies and soup. Very nice for the lunch break in the middle. Drinks are always available at the lovely terrace.

Until end of December 2020 the buggy fee is included in the green fee, so I do not know if using trolley is allowed.

It was more than 10 years ago when I played golf here. I hear many of my golfers friends saying the course conditions are horrendous. Nonetheless it was really a surprise when we played there over the weekend. The course is now in excellent condition (except a few green). The atmosphere is so pristine and tranquil with breathtaking view of the former tin mine pools.

It's a really good course to play now except the horrendous part would be the length of the holes which are extremely long (which is not a problem for me). Nonetheless the club house could use a upgrade.

Highly recommended and would come back to play again. The green fees are also reasonable 👍⛳

I have had the privilege to play at this beautiful golf club several times as a guest. The facilities are stunning being surrounded by trees and lakes. Nature is all around you with otters and monitor lizards as you enjoy a tranquil round of golf. Staff is friendly and attentive. Always a great experience!

Together with Saujana, it invariably tops most Malaysian rankings, and understandably so. In this quiet and very natural environment, large, attractive rainwater trees give the front-nine a distinctive, mature parkland character.

Clearwater is natural course with amazing landscape to be with. Accomdations are quite cosy with a different feel of interior to be in. The restaurant is limited with few food options. The golfers who love to be near nature will like this destination.

Love this place, doesn't matter how does it looks like. Hope they will manage to do some maintenance.
