Muzium Orang Asli Gombak (MOAG)

Orang Asli Museum Gombak is located 24 km from Gombak Street. This museum is somewhat different from other museums all over Kuala Lumpur. All exhibits in this museum are the cultural heritage of the indigenous people of Goose Mark. It is said that these historical heritages have been passed down for about 600 years.

The environment in this center is a forest area. Entering here, you can see ‘blow arrows’, ‘spears’, ‘ceramics’, ‘statues’ and so on. Each exhibit has a detailed historical background written next to it, so that visitors who come to visit can have a deeper understanding of the living culture and customs of the aborigines of the Goose Mark.

Lots of information, we have a chance to watch them making matt from raw leaves, good experience, make sure u sign the visitors log book.

This museum is located in a somewhat forestry area along the old trunk road from Gombak to Genting Sempah. A very interesting museum with exhibit of the indigenous people of Goose Mark. It of historical heritages have been passed down for about 600 years. Each exhibit have detail explanation on the background of the item with respect to the Orang Asli.

If you love culture heritage history, you will appreciate what the Gombak museum orang asli has to offer. The museum was open in year 1987, the year I was born ;p. So it has been around for the past 35 years. Entrance tickets are free, so seize this opportunity to visit to learn more about Malaysia orang asli history at the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

A very nice place and clean. Can get a lot of information regarding orang asli culture etc. Recommended to visit here.

Malaysia full with variaties of ethnic. You may find them at Batu 12. You may find so many of artifacts, pictures, utensils, tools and etc. Look scary but they all humble

The curator is good and very knowledgeable (Mr. Miswan). He can speaks Malay and English. The museum area is also clean. The bus parking area is quite spacious (3 buses max).

Although this museum is fairly small, it was worth to visit. Informative displays of orang asli heritage.

Not too bad of an experience wish there was more orang asli exhibit..worth a try.!

I'm glad to find Orang asli museum which display so many interesting facts and ways of life of the Orang Asli. Worth spending my time there.
