Went there during weekend, not so many people around. Museum on the hill, need to climb stairs a little. Good view, good exhibition, clean environment.

Well kept old wooden building. A lot of precious tool keeping here. Historic glory place must not to be miss in history Malaysia.

This place is a hidden gem. Although the museum is small, it is packed with information and the history of Sg. Lembing and its tin mining industry. Also, don't forget to check out the scenic views of the museum surrounding.

This museum was once the house to the CEO of tin mining at Malaya on the British era.

Rm2 for adult, rm1 for those 55 and older. Beautiful location on top of the hill, though folks with mobility challenges may find it difficult. Visitor parking is at bottom of hill.

You can spend more than 1.5 hours here to see the history of the small mining town. Interesting antiques tools and equipment used in the old days. The museum has a nice view at the entrance. Do not confuse this museum with the old mine tunnels site which situated further up the road which is only accessible via the pick up bus at the station in town.

Should checkout the interesting diorama. Good place to know the area history. Many historical tools that was once used in the industry are being displayed. Suggested to visit the underground mine 1st then here. It's a place for kids to see the real thing instead of from the internet.

This is a must visit place if you are in Sungai lembing, to know more about it’s rich heritage of Tin mining rush from the late 1800s to 1986. The museum is well maintained and has the documents, tools and captures the past very well

A place rich in history of the world's deepest shaft mine for tin, the town itself is frozen in time, the muzium stocks items and history of the town, housed in the dwelling of the mine manager, including the original items used by the family, we need to support places like this and support all efforts to preserve every the history of place

Love the museum. This is our second time here in 4 years. The place is well kept, toilet clean. A lot of info, mining items & old photos displayed. Wish the state government would do something to bring back life & beautify this historical town. Maybe they can get some ideas from Arrowtown, New Zealand. Sad El Dorado is temporary closed though. Hope they open soon. I enjoyed the short train ride into the mine.

Small museum, touring done in an hour. Affordable ticket, just parking on the outside, need to walk quite a bit.

This is one of the history about Sungai Lembing. Inside museum got many mining equipment and detail of history.

The Sg Lembing Museum was a really good place to visit. Items and artefacts were well kept and stored. I feel very humbled and have a high regard for those engineers who invented the exploration stuff. Everything was meticulously planned, crafted and built to extract the tin ore. These were pre-computers era. WOW!!!

Its a must visit place in Sg Lembing. Very informatif. Nice scenery from the top.

We just time traveled back to late 1800! Place where you will get the history of Tin Mining, local culture etc.
