I am very proud to say that the library in Batu Pahat is neat, quiet and full of story books in different languages, especially Malay and English. There is children section too. Encourage to come again.

Gembira ada tempat baca buku yang mempunyai pilihan yang sangat baik. Buku kanak-kanak sangat banyak. Anak setahun pon banyak buku menarik. Novel bahasa melayu pon banyak untuk ibu-ibu sambil tunggu anak baca buku. Proses meminjam pantas. 2 minggu waktu pinjaman. Walaupun rupanya macam perpustakaan zaman 80an, isi dalam nya menarik. Port setiap minggu.

It's a small library in fact , but can spend your time over here by reading newspaper and books . With air con , environment in library feel comfortable

Selesa..tapi ada kanak2 suka bermain dan buat bising.

Orang dewasa boleh masuk tak ye???

Super disappointed for this library, will never go again!
Firstly, the shoes in front the door were messy even there was an empty shoe rack, nobody use it!
Second, the main entrance had a notice for NO FOOD AND DRINKS ALLOWED EXCEPT MINERAL WATER, ya that's good, but after stepping inside the library, 3 staffs there were having their delicious satay!!! So the notice was purposely for visitor only? Not for everyone in library? The smell of those satay was all over the area!
Third, the facilities should be improved. I don't know how much fund does our government provide for this library, but the tables and chairs seem like 2nd hand facilities, hard to find a plug for using laptop, did I wrongly stepped into a 1990s library?
Lastly, the kids in the library kept running and shouting on each other, isn't library should be quiet and suitable for reading? Is that becoming a playground for kids? Nobody care them, just Biar them playing around, because the staffs were busy eating satay??
Concluding these 4 very worse case, I left the library within minutes, and went to McDonald's and felt a restaurant even better than staying in a library. Really will not visit this so-called LIBRARY again and definitely will not suggest to anyone.
