Lovely place for families. 2 days of fun for short holidays.

We were spending a few hours being here just to have fun by doing water activities at their water theemd park.

It is open for business at 10a.m., when we arrived at 12 p.m. or so, too many people were waiting to buy the entrance ticket. FYI, there are food stalls and groceries available.

Only a person (representative) can line up to buy the ticket, and the BMLR will close at 5.30p.m. You can't bring in your own food inside. There is an inspection counter to inspect your belongings. Once you habe wore the handtag, you can't go out and reenter the water park area freely. You must stay inside the precint until you are deciding to leave the place.

Did not stay at a hotel but visited the water park I know how to say it is a very wonderful for the kids. Me and the family of five pay just just over 115 Malaysian ringgit. The water itself is warm maybe because of the heat outside and there are numerous pools for all sizes adults and kids alike.
But be warned the biggest water slide does not allow you to go on if you are not wearing at t-shirt. And the other a bigger waterslide does not allow you to go on if you do not have a floater rented on site. Apart from that everything is perfect and remember no food from outside premises permitted.
And just to finish things off outside of the water park you can hire bike or electric cart and explored the wonderful garden and Lakeside

A great advantage to book there is you can avoid group tour (with a lot of people) for the sanctuary visite.

Wake up 8am, then get the boat at 9, and have oran utangs only for you.

Welcoming staff. Restaurant has well made meal. The hotel is a bit old, but room are clean and quiet big and for traveller like me, it os very okay to have a big room like that. Can organize again my travelling bag, clean dirty laundry.

Beautiful place and great hospitality. Even if your not spending a night there, you can just come here to do all the activities that they have provided there. If you don't want to spend money, you can just go for beautiful picture taking for Instagram post. All for free. The staff also is so friendly they can answer your questions. There's also various food vendor so you can eat anything you want. The location is so near from the exit of the highway. Recommended

Stay at Kampung Air Water Chalet. Nice view facing the lake. Quiet night. Enjoy.

I like the place and the surroundings. It's just probably like it needs an on going maintenance and care with the landscaping a lot more. People will appreciate a more natural surrounding but also, clean.

Great place and facilities for meeting. Easy negotiation and dealings with the PIC. Nice scenery and great taste of food. Good value for money.

Especially the island ferry to the orangutan island. If I could give it more stars I would definitly do it. The vibe is nice and colorfull as well

Bought MATTA fair deal at PWTC last week and the sales personnel was able to help book a date for me on the spot. Thank you Cik Nad for your excellent service! We went there last Thursday during school holiday.

MATTA deal: RM 178 Deluxe room 1 queen 1 single bed with bathtub; comes with breakfast for 2 pax & 2 pax water theme park admission. Added on 2 kids water theme park admission ticket at RM 20 each.

The room condition was adequate. Our room was on the third floor. There's a lift to access to upper floors. Swimming pool is located next to the block of registration counter. What I was really surprise was the prices of food at their restaurant and kiosk/cafe inside the theme park. Very affordable and quite tasty! Nasi putih ayam masak kicap + air sirap ais only RM 10! Memang tak dapat lah that price dekat other theme parks I ever went before! The drinks at cafe komer sells in HUGE tapau containers! We bought teh ais cincau and iced Milo for RM 6 each only. Sedap + kawww pulak tu!

Water theme park: there are ample free seating areas everywhere. You can also rent cabanas for RM 90 (3 hours) without aircond and RM 150 (3 hours) air-conditioned. There is a baby room with fan complete with hot water, a baby crib, nursing station and an area for younger toddlers to play (slide and small house) when mothers are nursing their babies. Only MOTHERS and CHILDREN allowed in the area. FATHERS can wait outside ya so many seating areas near the baby room.

Changing room, toilets and lockers for rent right next to tube and cabanas rental. A lot of changing rooms with cold showers and long seating area.

Rides requiring tubes: we rent a double- tube. A bit disappointed because my 110 cm daughter couldn't ride all the adult slide rides because min height is 120 cm. All rides were open but to me the most scary was the U-shaped single tube ride! It was a very narrow drop!

WANT TO DO MORE AT BMLR? Do visit the orangutan island! There's also a fish spa, short cruise, fishing and beautiful instagrammable shots around the lake.

All in all my family and I had such a great time at Bukit Merah Laketown Resort. Definitely recommended for every family.

come here for company trip. food is so good. got plenty of choice n i love most of it. got a lot of activities to do. Waterpark, petting zoo, lake cruise, archery and so much more. all within walking distance only. will surely repeat here with my own family in the future.

We go to bukit merah waterpark with our sibling n her family. We learn a few things for our next trip:-
1-wear swim shirt suit without zip
2-support local bussiness before we enter
3-take photo n they will offer u to buy when u exit
4-eat a lot before enter if u think pay double for ur lunch 2x were not affordable
5- can't bring outside food
6- don't bring ur kids thru main entrance, as they are many toy to cause tantrum there
7- keep cool n enjoy the hot weather with beautiful hill view there

This place offer discaunt till end of feb if u book ticket online.

I will hang out at Bukit Merah Laketown Resort every time I return to Taiping. Attractive place. Suitable for families. Kids will be happy because there is a water theme park. In addition there is an orangutan island that can be accessed by boat

Stay at the water chalet and it was a nice experience.

I love the slides n the pools...I Love the place there...They even have a small petting zoo. The ticket price is reasonable but going during weekends or school holidays will be fully packed.

Short trip here in Bukit Merah with my bestie, my Sister and my Bro in law... Its a lucky pick that we are going here that day... Sunny day... Windy weather and not too crowded with people... Have a nice picture here too... Hihi TQ sista for the Cendol and enjoy the train ride to Bagan Serai from Butterworth... Giitteewww... Will come again...
