Kang Fresh Water Food

Good fresh varieties. Reasonably priced and there are plenty of similar restaurants nearby. Pandan coconut and the bottle of umbra juice with assam were good too. Only downside are quite a lot of flies, which is understandable by the location surrounded by oli palm trees and estate.

Visited this restaurant to taste their fresh water fish. The fishes were amazing and price is reasonable given that the place is slightly off grid. There are many restaurants around but this was recommended. We had 1 giant 'Lam kor' and 2 white tilapia. We also ordered 2 plates of fresh water prawns which were so good. One of it was steamed and another was stirred fried with some chili paste 'Kam heong'.

The price rings up to about $60/pax.. This is very worth it and definitely a good recommendation. 👍👍

Not bad oh, but kind of a long drive haha. Very deep into the kelapa sawit field. Fish was fresh, food all was good. Affordable too, rm200+ for 6 ppl. Prawn crackers were kinda fire as well.

Oh and they have a collection of some vintage stuff. Kinda cool to see

Fresh, delicious, reasonable price. It’s a hidden gems, if u are from KL to Penang or from Penang to KL, beside Ipoh, this place is a good stopover place for lunch or dinner, few km from PLUS tol, deep inside plantation, a tiny Chinese village, the restaurant is surround by the plantation, if big group can go in the private room.

I came this place 3 years ago and gave 1 star review... however today i came back and i really love the food as its all fresh .. mainly the prawn,crab and fish.... plus the owner is very friendly... just 2 ring he answered my call and gave very responsive feedback while i was on my way to this shop....from the taste of food can see they really keep a high quality in the ingredians...

I still can't recall why in the 1st place i could give 1 star review 3 years ago...

Reasonable priced and nice food. Never try never know.

The environment is nice and the bos is friendly. The fish is fresh and delicious. The size of the fish is also big. The fish can be devide to 2 and to cook in 2 different taste. The price is also reasonable.

Nice seafood restaurant, first time here and I'm sure I will be back again. Love their salted egg mantis prawn, steam Lala, yummylicios.

i will visit here everytime I come back to Penang. You know penang lang tastebud is very choosy. This restaurant is so dalam and it could be famous and sustain until now it's because word of mouth. Definitely will recommend my friends to come here! Ladybos and staff are very friendly and nice, not like what review said.. Gonna miss the food when Im back to PJ. 😘

Fresh food with reasonable pricing. Reached at 630pm, already packed with ppl. Food waiting time is acceptable. Will recommend this shop to my family n friends.

Food here is good, especially the prawn cake, steam soon hock fish and paku vege. Overall food taste more on the sweet side.
But won't affect me from visiting this place again for fresh water fish & prawn.
The price is reasonable too.

the area have a lot of similar restaurant, all selling almost same things, but i find Kang Fresh nicer and price acceptable, from sit down, order and serve, around 15-20mins which consider fast also, but also depends on the crowd, their fish is fresh hence ask for steam you can taste the sweetness of fish, they got fresh prawns as well. The restaurant is very spacious can cater many table. Worth to try

The food is really good and really fresh. A good place to try if you're nearby that area.

Excellent fresh water seafood. The flesh of catfish is soft and without muddy smell. Only 25 mins from Batu Kawan.

Recommended dinner place. Seafood was freshly served. Variesties of dishes to be chosen. Staff was very helpful amd friendly. The restaurant was out of town ... a peacuful enviroment. Most important the price are reasonable.
