I choose 56 Hotel because of good Google review and reasonable price for a business trip.

However, upon my entrance to the room, a strong smoking smell was filled in the room. I thought the smoke came from outside, so I went out for dinner and see whether the smoke will be gone after awhile. After my dinner, sadly the smoke smell was still strongly present in the room. So I went to the counter to request to have a change of room.

Thankfully the hotel assistant Ms Malar was helpful enough to bring up the issue to the hotel owner and eventually got to change to a more conducive room.

Friendly and prompt service.
Reasonable price.
Lots of room.
Their cleanliness is well-maintained.
They also sell potato chips, soft drinks, and other stuffs.
There are Chinese restaurants around this hotel.
Nearby housing areas.
Well managed by the management.

Friendly receptionist, great location to travel around and comfortable stay overall. Plus, it just walking distance to the morning market. The also have food delivery from different shops (Mamak, Chinese, KFC).

Excellent! The room was clean, spacious, aircond & water heater working great, the water pressure was good too. Very convenient with few restaurants nearby. Worth the price. Will definitely come back here.

Nice customer service . Clean. Got morning market in front of the hotel. It's in non flooding area. Very safe.

Excellent, best budget hotel in this area. Aircond & hotwater working well. Rooms are cozy & spacious. Mentakab Star Mall just 5 minutes away and a lot of eateries nearby.

One Of the best budget hotel we stayed. Its actually a new hotel. The owner, manager, and even the staffs are friendly. We booked all the 28 rooms in this hotel. No complaints at all. Fantastic!
