Kancil Raja Patin HQ Temerloh (KRP)

Their gulai ikan patin tempoyak is very delicious compared other restaurants selling the same dish.
So far, this is the best in town! It just the Pais Ikan Patin is a bit tasteless. Maybe they forgot some salt & sugar i dont know. Huhu.
Restaurants got a very good vibes. Table made from the aquarium (aquarium table near cashier) are very out of the box.
My kids love the ambience. Definitely will come again & gonna be your regular customer 😛

Try gulai patin tempoyak. The gravy so delicious. Not sweet. No muddy taste or smell from the fish. Better take out the fish from big pot upon customer request, to maintain hot tempoyak gravy. My friend take the fish which are already display in the cabinet, the gravy wasn't hot.

My second time visiting this restaurant. I love the masak lemak ikan patik. I finished eating the gravy by myself

Pais patin tempoyak kayu api is the bomb!

Restaurant quite spacious, they even had 4 aquarium tables. Yes, you can eat on top of see through aquarium (with live fish) glass table .

Able to accommodate our large group of 10 pax even with self service concept - came all over from Klang Valley for patin tempoyak experience and it’s really a good one. We tried all patin fish, gulai tempoyak related dishes and really satisfying.

The best patin tempoyak I ever tasted. Thick spicy gulai that sears your tongue yet feeling so good from the durian aftertaste..fish is cooked perfectly, flesh so soft and moist, will return over and over again.

Good place for having lunch with patin tempoyak. A bit pricy, but OKlah.

We were early for lunch, having arrived from kl at 11am, and they were just getting ready to serve the foods. Soon enough, the place was buzzing with hungry customers!! Precariously located right on the bank of Sungai Pahang, this restaurant offers fantastic views of the mighty river, together with the famously excellent patin tempoyak, you will effortlessly enjoy a dramatic lunchtime...but if you are not a big fan of tempoyak dishes, pls try the pais patin bakar or the fried patin, which are also equally delicious!! They also offer fresh water prawns, ikan keli masak pedas, ikan talapia bakar, and various assortment of vegetables and ulam ulaman...the highly prized ikan kerai is also available, but must be pre ordered.. I strongly recommend this restaurant to all, especially for those who are fans of malay kampung food...😋😋😋

Placed 10-15 minutes from temerloh exit KL Bound LPT. Despite the fact that the restaurant is a little bit further deep, it was filled with people from all over places. Its main dishes are of course white rice + Gulai Tempoyak or Pais Patin Tempoyak. Both was said to be cooked less hot n spicy compared to Patin Bangau Restaurant nearby. The place is quite nice as it's situated beside a river despite its rundown appearences. Offered other dishes as well such as Patin Gireng Pedas, Patin Penyet, fried chicken and variety of cooked vegetables. Sometime ikan kerai was also cooked but today i was out of luck. The price is ok considering they used Patin Sungai.

The price for 1 bowl of tempoyak ikan patin is only rm10. A bit spicy and taste good. Recommended 👍

The local favourites food, main menu is soup patin tempoyak, during lunch especially on weekend usually full of people, you need to queue sometimes. Food is good.

A very popular spot for visitors especially bikers. You may see a lot of bikers rode all the way just to sample ikan patin, a true testament of its popularity during weekends.

What a marvellous patin tempoyak. Taste so different compared to what I used to taste in Shah Alam. Will definitely stop over again at Patin Kancil tepi sungai Temerloh for the excellent dish.

Open at 11am and need to queue. Got RELA jaga at entrance. Must try patin goreng. If you really craving patin tempoyak, this is the best place to get it.

Temerloh has a lot of patin tempoyak stalls and restaurants, they can be found every corner of the town. Gobang Maju is inarguably the most famous of all.
But if you want to try one that has less tourists and also slightly cheaper in price, check out Kancil Raja Patin.
Kancil Raja Patin (KRP) is situated next to Sungai Pahang so diners can enjoy the peaceful view of the river while eating. You can also see plenty of fish cages lined up along the river used to rear patin fish – silver catfish.

Kancil Raja Patin HQ is situated in Temerloh, near Sungai Pahang. Here the Patin tempoyak and patin pais is the best I ever tasted. Normally I came here with my family and friends to enjoy the patin cuisine.

When you dine here, you can enjoy the peaceful view of the river while eating.

You can also see plenty of fish cages lined up along the river used to rear patin fish also known as silver catfish.

This patin tempoyak restaurant makes their own tempoyak paste from durian kampung flesh. It contains 13 different spices that contribute to its exquisite flavor. Really excellent.

I am not a fan of patin tempoyak and all sort of the dishes that using patin, but i have been told by my friends who had thier specialty that this is one of the most excellent taste. Staffs were amazing, seating is spacious, a lot of open free parking area to park. Easily to recognized and my friend also told me that its better that Go’bang Maju. Variety food, child friendly environment and they also provide free drinks on Friday. On the wall of the restaurant the owner of the shop stated that their patin had been served to the Royals

They really follow the SOP impose by the government in regards of Movement control order. However it's not going to lessen the experience of enjoying good food and nice scenery by the river. In Malay translation : Bapok sedak weh!

Wow, I never expected ikan patin masak tempoyak taste so heavenly. This place by far is the best ever you could find for this special local dish. God bless to the owner.

I just 💜 it! The patin is huge, kuah tempoyakkk very tempting, the pais patin very thick & delicious! Price are affordable. 😋👍
