Sutra Beach Resort Terengganu

This hotel is one of the nicest hotels in this area. This was my second time checking in at the hotel. The pool was clean and huge.
It's a bit crowded at the time of my visit because of the school holidays.

Books 3 rooms for a night travel as couple travellers. Good Resort. Ample parking space for car. But normal rooms is much larger than the priciest one.. The resort is quite old. Facilities is good. Breakfast is average. The pool is the best with stunning view. Check in time is 3pm (cannot early). Maybe will Come back someday.. Maybe 😊😊😊

The best swimming pool I've ever tried! The depth sesuai utk org dewasa have fun. About 1.4m i think. But really the best pool.The room is beautiful but need a lil bit maintenance (please take care of the room eventhough there's no guest) to kill the odour. The food is superb, kena dgn tekak. I've been to other hotel that is pricier in terms of breakfast but didnt taste good as this hotel. Overall, my stay there was greatly satisfying and I will surely come back again for the pool. A lil bit suggestion, please give extra time for guest to swim in the pool. No pool has ever closed as early as 10.30am.

Though we have some reservations about the place due to mixed reviews left by previous guests, overall I think this place is of my liking. Huge pool, nice view from the room if you book seaview room, nice and courteous staff. I communicated with Cik Ida, the PIC of the resort a few times before checked in to reserve ground floor rooms for our family, and our requests were fulfilled. She even reserved us rooms near the restaurant/pool so that it is easier for us to push our wheelchair bound father for his meals. The resort is OKU friendly and there are ramps for wheelchair guests. We had dinner at the restaurant and the price is reasonable and all the dishes are scrumptious IMO. I would like to specifically pay a compliment to the housekeeping staff here, namely Kak Sa, who is really accommodating and I can see her sincerity in doing her job. However, I personally feel the resort needs to be refurbished. Mouldy ceiling, peeling paint and creaking floors are some of the issues they need to address. The seaview room comes with a patio and there’s some sand on the patio, which is understandable since we are after all near the beach. Thus, I suggest they provide a broom and dustpan for each patio/balcony for guests’ use.

Peaceful and out of the way. This is a great resort for the money if you're looking for peace and quiet. Local people will bring families here for a relaxing weekend, so there may be kids running around. There won't be loud parties or music happening, though. The beach is very beautiful, but the tides and waves make it a bit rough for swimming, but the pool is more than enough. The sunrise is stunning from the beach, however.

Best place ever. The building is a bit ruined down, but the scenery of front beach place, look out to view of Perhentian Island & Redang, the ambience of rustic feelings made me flattered. You can't find any resorts with infinity pool looking out to great beach views coastal of Terengganu & Kelantan like this.

The main attraction that makes my family really want to go here is the large and beautiful swimming pool.
When you are used to go on holiday, a big swimming pool, a beautiful scenery and landscape all round will be our target.

During the holiday we can rest our stressed body and soul.

So give time to ourself and family. Need to calm the brain before going back to the office.

Apart from that, it's a reward for all of us. We also encouraged the children to go swimming and brush up on their swimming techniqes. Using Traveloka for your travel requirements can save you a little.

The food was excellent. I love the scenery. Its very beautiful and relaxing. The sea view deluxe room is a good place for a stay. The pool is large enough to accommodate the guests. Thanks for the nice stay.

Clean place. Warm services. Security was great, they made rounds. I was there during the weekdays so it was quiet. The food at the rest was totally worth it. Pakej A RM45 sangat berbaloi for two people. Lauk banyak with great taste. Call, order, terus pergi makan. Easy peasy. The pool was amazing too but it cannot defeat the super clean beach!

nice view of beach...the best thing here, the pool is so big with suitable for every level of height..im 163cm n i really enjoy with the depth and its wide too..we can swim freely from 8-12, 4-7

If your idea of a great vacation is to do very little, at a mostly out of tourist sight, and largely natural seaside resort, at an affordable rate, look no further.

This is a 3 stars resort, not everything is perfect, and not everything works, but for the price we paid, it is 5 stars value.

The hot shower is good. The pool view is great.

We felt in love with the resort 20 years ago, and been back here few times since. Not a lot has change, which is a good thing. But they have kept up with the maintenance, despite many negative comments, so it is pretty much the same standard as we first arrived.

If you like action, Pulau Redand is just a boat ride away. We plan to check out and head to Kuala Besut and onto Pulau Perhentian for a day trip before continuing our journey to Kota Bharu.

Last but not least, if you enjoy a cold beer under the hot sun, please bring your own beer, because chances are, you won't find any here. Cheers!

This place was very quite and tranquil. Really good for those who want to escape from hustle and bustle of city life. The water at the beach also was nice, not too deep and the whole family can spend whole day swimming/picnic there.

The view at Sutra beach resort is magnificent.. I've booked a seaview room for 1 night and it was a wonderful night of my life.. I just give 5 star because of the view..other thing i dont mind much..

Very beautiful scenary of the pool just right in front of the beach. My kids enjoyed the pool so much. At night, we ordered foods from Merang Restaurant; Nasi Goreng and Chicken Chop. Finger lickin good!

Nice hotel. For family with kids. Looks old but manage good. Big pool. Comfort bed. Clean area. Delicious food restaurant. Big surau. Ample car park. Next beach. Only the sea can swim. Not recommended. For picture nice. Can see pulau redang from here

The best Malaysian beach resort I have ever seen so far. Although it is 35 km north of Kuala Terengganu, its closer proximity to the islands of Redang and Perhentian enables one to take a day trip to either of them. It's surroundings are very peaceful and relaxing compared to other similar retreats. Me and my dad did not stay here as we continued our journey to Kuala Terengganu instead. Hence we shall consider staying here the next time we visit Terengganu again.

Sutra Beach Resort...suitable for family get away. The beach area is beautiful and the pool area and the view is Superb! located near to their cafe. This resort located near to locad food shop.

Great location with friendly environment, big infinity pool & white sandy beach nice for honeymoon.
